Just one more reason to do your best not to buy ANY products manufactured in CHINA. (hard to do) But I do my best.
Pet food recalls......baby formula issues......We often complain about the U.S.A. and all the controls but we are safer for it. During the olympics they were rounding up stray animals and slaughtering them because of the tourists that would be visiting. They were concerned with how it would look. The stray animal population has been out of control for years. Nothing was even thought about to help the problem or the animals until the olympics and what a solution they came up with!!!!!!!!!.....makes me ill!!!

I do my best NOT to buy anything made in China. Even if it means paying more.....I'll do it.
The Olympics....don't even get me started on that!! Let's just say I'll NEVER set foot in that country or knowingly buy any product made there.

I'd like to say, we do have members of Chinese ancestry, and I don't want anybody to be offended. It's just that these practices with the animals are very disturbing.
I love, love, love my friend from China. .

I did not intend to insult the people of China. Sorry If I did.
I have an equal amount of disgust with people in the states that abuse or mistreat animals. I am an equal opportunity hater! LOL Dottie

If anyone wants to see and can handle the video, PETA has some showing what happens to these animals on their website. It's not just China, this stuff happens everywhere, even here.
PS: I do not support Peta, just directing those who may want to see for themselves.

Yes, and here in the USA the puppy mills are many and why those people aren't jailed is beyond my comprehension. Missouri ranks #1 in puppy mills, and Iowa and Nebraska are right up there with 'em. Even Minnesota ranks in the top 10. Pennsylvania is nasty for puppy mills as well.
Although at least the overpopulation of animals, puppymills, and those related issues are well advertised now! Read this onlyif you can handle a couple of descriptions of puppy mill abuse. It's an article at CNN about cracking down on puppy mills. .
