Chemar, having my own recent loss, it took me a bit before I could steal myself to read this thread..... I am so sorry about your family's loss - it is devastating to have a beloved pet stolen or a die.

And hearing about the kitten search, I wanted you to know that cats can adore and even demand a nightly play time with a flashlight beam. I hope you get such a cat.

And believe me that they can easily become used to supervising the making (and eating) of supper..

Hug and sympathy to you and your son ...
Teri

Heart

I, too, haven't been able to post, as my labrador is quite aged and some days aren't very good. (((((hugs)))))

Unhappy How are you doing now?

I've returned to this, wondering how you are doing now...this long after the loss... I just put my service dog of 15 years down...I am beside myself with grief. TC JD

JD, my deepest condolences to you
.

when you feel able to, I do suggest that you get a new companion.
It will never replace your beloved friend of 15 years...but it does help to heal the empty ache..

with much sympathy
Cheri
