We have a live trap for larger animals, that safely catches stuff like cats so we can release them elsewhere without harm. Here's a link. Maybe you can find a small one cheap on ebay or amazon.
bestnest/search.asp?src=googleaws&searchcrit=hav-&kw=live_trap I can say ours works really well. Good luck, and I hope the little feller is okay. .

This was on our calendar yesterday:
A very worried, embarrassed hamster!

We have a new hamster.
. Hubby caught "her" with a fish net. lol She looks about 3 -4 weeks old. Skinny. Has really long hands and feet. Might just seem that way compared to my 2 chuccy boys. Now we have 3 cages. We named her Cinnamon. . Basil and Curry don't know what to think. They keep bumping her cage while in their balls. Picture coming soon.

Aren't nets wonderful?
We have a large butterfly net for the critters Oreo brings in. Mostly chipmunks and voles! But we have had the occasional bunny with it. My hubby is very good with it too! Kuddos for you for saving Cinnamon. We can call you the Hamster Rescue now! . With some patience and luck, you might be able to tame her too!

So far she is really sweet. Not calm like Basil and Curry, but she has let me hold and pet her. She like the ball and her wheel.
The bowl she is in, it's small ramikin. What is the funniest thing, is my husband. He calls me at 8am to tellme he has caught her. I asked him if he was going to take her back to the pet store when they open. He said, don't you think we can give her a better life than the pet store? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

She's ever so cute, and I just love the name you chose for her.
2 males and 1 female?? . Me thinks this is just the beginning of many stories, yet to come. .

They might all be males or all females or a mixture. I have no idea how to tell.
They all have their own cages. No sleep overs. .
