My prayers are with Wallley. All cats are wonderful but tabbies rule!

Oh no, poor baby! I'm sorry.

Say, I know this will sound crazy, but have you seen Vowel Lady's post about her doggy? I know I will sound like my vet, LOL, but has your vet checked Walley's a n a l sacs for any infection or impaction? Sometimes when my cats have been sick, they had infections in those sacs and they needed to be cleaned out.

Also, you may want to ask the vet about Viralys. My elder cat has feline herpes virus. I can stop giving her the Viralys for a short while before the symptoms kick back in. It really helps her. A friend of mine uses the Viralys gel. I think I'm going to try that instead of the powder.

A little about the virus and Viralys.
.

You can even get Viralys at places like Amazon.

Just a thought.

I hope it isn't anything serious!

You must take such good care of your kitty! Thirteen is getting on up there but I have several friends with cats in their early twenties. Keep up the good care!

Walley

Hi All,

Thanks for all the nice messages. Walley will be on a pill for the next 30 days. My husband and I are having a hard time giving him this pill as it is big. If this pill does not help Walley goes back to the vet and the vet will try steriods for his problem.:grouphug:

Thanks,

Kate

I hope these pills help sweet Walley. I'm giving Bruna pills 2x/day for 40 days. Luckily, I discovered if I put a little butter on a spoon and put the pill in it, she laps it in one scoop. Wonder if peanut butter would work better.

Our former dog however was awful to pill. She'd manage to spit it out every time!

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
