It's hard to keep Otto crated, especially since he is a natural born barker extraordinaire. (It drives people nuts!) But I think it's best.

And yes, even with a short burst of prednisone, it's a good idea to taper. That prednisone is a miracle and so powerful but can be scary going off. When I was on a heavy dose for a year, it took me almost half a year to taper all the way down to nothing. You get down to that smallest dose and if there's something going on, it will flare.

So, that's awesome she is being boarded with your vet! Now you don't have to be concerned about that. (Well, at least not as much.) I'm so sorry this is happening with such a big event coming up in your life. And congratulations on the wedding! Be sure and get plenty of rest. (Yeah, right!)
