Sad news I'm afraid.

Sam the Koala, who made world headlines when a rescue worker gave her water from his own supply during last summer's Australian bushfires, has lost her battle for life.

That's so sad but I'm glad to know they did what they thought was best for her so she wouldn't suffer. She'd been through enough already.
