Default flares in p n

Recently have sore throat and cough. Can a virus trigger peripheral neuropathy symptoms? My feet seem much more painful, with tingling, etc...

Lightbulb

Yes, some infectious illness may cause inflammation and release inflammatory cytokines into the blood stream, affecting PN.

I had one incidence of all over burning with a viral thing about 3 yrs ago. It only last a few days and stopped.

Some people react this way and others don't.

Default A number of us--

--have reported "flares" that coincide with a recent illness, particularly a viral one. Doesn't always happen, and not to everybody, but it does happen.
