Default Neuropathy Implants

I was diagnosed with PN about 5 years ago. Anyone has experience or information regarding Nevro and Medtronic Neuropathy implants?

I did a little search on this "implant" stuff but didn't continue as I would never do anything like this.

There is so much we can do to reduce neuropathy from foods (sugars) and various supplements help a lot.

I've had a lot of success with Inosine and Sphingolin and then there is Grape Seed Extract which I've
been taking for decades.

Does the OP deal with diabetes and if so foods and so much can help.

I have been told that they can be life changing for some patients. I considered it at one time, but decided not to have an implant. It can help pain in feet, but my neuropathy is widespread. Also, being diabetic, we don't heal as quick as non diabetics. I think they can hook you up for a trial period to see if it helps your pain.

Hi,
Welcome to NeuroTalk Support Groups.

There are posts in several places regarding both Nevro and Medtronics. If you do a full forum search it will bring those up. Obviously not all of those posts are specifically for Peripheral Neuropathy but they are related to pain. I would imagine in the RSD/CRPS forum, for example, there would be many posts as well.

Anyway, here are a couple of links below that you may find helpful.

SCS and Pain Pumps sub-forum and also the

Advanced Forum Search Feature

I also ran a search in the SCS and Pain Pumps sub-forum for the term "neuropathy" and it brought up many, many posts. So, although it might take a little sifting, there is actually a lot of information here from years past.

I'm sure someone will help if you need any direction with searches.
All the best.
