I have complex PTSD and BPD. I have been in therapy for years without any tangible benifit. In a desperate effort to make my therapist and shrink understand I have set for doing a writing/chronical about the abused suffered as a child. My first PTSD moment happened at for at the hands of my mother. My writing is called WRITING THIS WRONG and I would really like to share a single page called EMOSHUNNED because shunning emotion is a symptom of Complex PTSD, a symptom doctors don't appreciate and only redefine it in doctor nomenclature. It is my oppinion that complex PTSD is an emotional disorder a wound to the soul and spirit and is better to seek spiritual and phylisophical healing and learn to emote again.I would liketo share this page with you all and need feedback as I am hoping my writing can reach the AFFECTED, such as I. Pleasletmeknow if anyone can FEEL my dis-ease.
Thank you Ps upload is deemed invalid I will paste and copy intonew post |

Just wanted to post that I have been diagnosed with some form of C-PTSD for about 20 years now (of course the name has changed over the years but C-PTSD is a newer name and "easier" to say). Mine stems from childhood abuse as well. Just waving hi and saying I'm here- I'm new to this site.

Greetings to Everyone! I am a new member to this forum & glad to hear that Im not alone
with these issues as posted here.... For so many years I am experiencing extreme emotions which seems out of control such as being overwhelmed for no apparent reason, fear that comes from nowhere, feeling of agitation & hurtful images/memory of events in childhood. It is just hard to function in everyday life having all these issues. Few days ago, by chance got to read in parts a book by Peter Levine "Waking the Tiger - Healing Trauma" & I got some new insights of what I have been going through all this time. |
