Default Its very fast.

I have had several traumatic events happen to me and around me as a child. Last night something happened that set me of on a fear round-about. Now I can't settle inside and I feel as If I am going fast inside, my head is to fast, I'm trying to make sure I have every avenue covered so I can make my escape.

I look up around me and see today, but I dont' see it, its all about the fear going on inside of me, the noise its all to fast and noisy. I tried writing to get some of the fast out of me but its not working.

I feel as if I'm about to leave the last bit of reality I have hold of right now and enter the ghost train ride. I dont want to be like this, how can I stop it? Is this a normal reaction for PTSD? Or is this somethign else? I want to be concooned in a safe place right now where life is taken away but cna't find that place. I feel mad right now.

I can't offer advice but can offer you a place to let it all out. Is this fear something you want to talk about? Either way, we're here for you.

No you didn't. It's OK to come here and just say you need to let something out. Many times you will find we all do that. We need to just talk but not necessarily about what is bothering us. I hope that makes sense. I once had a thread going titled ARGHHHHHH!!!! and posted a comment like this Arghhhhhh!!! Everyone understood and chimed in with their own grunting. :-)

Hello, you haven't said too much.

You sound like you are in an extreme panic mode. Confused and the feeling of things/places not being real.

It sounds like these feeling have happened before, as if you know where this might be going for you.

I don't know if you have PTSD but you need to seek help for yourself very soon.

Hang on and please come back to talk.

I have had many traumatic things happen to me, most them when I was an adult. I cannot say I know what you’re feeling however, I have felt pretty lost during those times of year when I am calendaring. Right now is one of those traumatic times.

If you need someone to talk to just pm me. I hope you come back and let us know how you are…

Hi Hello,

I'm new here but I have felt something similar to what you describe - I felt like I was going to lose control completely and go crazy (something I often seem to think I am!) - my mind and my body was telling me that I was not safe and to run - I think it was a panic attack - I tried writing it out - sometimes that has worked - or putting ice in my hands (strange but it works sometimes) you have to find a good way to bring you back to reality that works for you - I see (was seeing) a psychologist and he got me to ring him when this was happening and he talked it through with me - that helped too - I hope you have someone who is helping you - a friend, counsellor, psychologist, or post here I am sure there will be lots of people to talk it out with - I hope you feel safer soon - Phoenix7
