Default c-ptsd or borderline personality disorder?

Does anybody know the difference? They sound quite similar to me. My husband has been diagnosed with both, depending on who you talk to.

Hi debm2,

I was hoping someone with a lot more knowledge would reply - but here is what ive worked out for myself and its pretty simplistic - and I could be wrong....

BPD is living in a false reality- putting a false version of you to the world and living that lie - and c-ptsd and ptsd is living with an event that happened that keeps re-occurring in flashbacks, nightmares etc -

dont know if that helped - there is a lot of info on the net but its confusing - suggest you ask his psych.

Take care P7

Yes, thank you. This is exactly what I've been searching for to learn more. It helps me to understand and be more supportive of my husband.
