Fun in the pool

We had my grandaughter's 7 b'day party yesterday here at our house. Her b'day is next month but they can't come up any time next month. I had bought this little pool and then the other Grandma bought them a 15 ft pool for their house and we are keeping our little tiny pool at our house. So I was a little apprehensive about what the kids reaction would be. I had nothing to worry about as you can see in my pics.

well, something happened and my pics didn't show

I'll try again for the pics. Well for some reason it's saying it's not a valid image file. I'll try again later.

I look forward to seeing the pix, but I'll take your word.

It's the time and attention the kids love Doydie. It's got nothing to do with how much money you spend.

One day I took my granddaughter across the street for ice cream. I held her tiny hand and we walked, she was positively beaming. She said ice cream 97 times LOL.

She acted like an angel.

I have never seen her SO happy. I don't think a trip to Disney land could have been a bigger deal to her.

We came home and ate our treat while watching Dora the Explorer. I lost count of how many hugs I got that night and she still talks about it.

That's why they are so special. You can get them a $1 thing and it's a big deal. They play with it till it gets lost. Maybe I'll snag a couple new pool toys for when she comes this week to surprise her.

If you're still having prolems with those pix I'm sure somebody can advise what to do.

Hey Doyd~ When you post about your DGD, I picture you just beaming. She is definitely lucky to have you in her life. I'm not sure if I'll be a Granny someday or not, but if I ever get my hands on a grandbaby, look out.

Hope you can get the pix loaded; I can't wait to see them.

Brain: Your'e right, sometimes it's the little things we do that mean the most.

Since this is a new day, I'll try again for the pics.

Looks like I got them up. It's so hard to take a picture of the oldest one. All she wants to do is pose and they are so fake. She is so beautiful, I've told her to just let me take a picture and let it be her.

What fun!!! I am so glad everything turned out so well. The girls are beautiful and it looks like they had a great time. Thank you for posting the pictures.

Little people like tht don't belomg in a 15 ft. pool. Your's is so right for her, bet she feels safer and comfortable. And yours has a cool giraffe!!!!!!!!!!. She has to grow, the other pool will be gone by then. (As a mother of twins that grew and had some pools in our lives, I know.), You can be the grand-ma with the pool.
