There is some danger in all operations and procedures, so I can understand why you are scared :hug::hug:

When you see the vascular surgeon on Wednesday you will have a lot more information, and that will help, but of course some fear will remain :hug::hug:

I wish that your health was better and you didn't have to go through all this ****. You certainly have a lot going on right now :hug::hug:

We're here for you Bobby, and we're listening :hug::hug:

mymorgy 07-16-2016 09:13 AM

i have never had an operation before and i am all by myselfwish i were a lot thinner. I wish i weren;t diabeteic or had high blood pressure. I also wish i could cry.the hospital is right near by.I am also worried about by apartment. they still haven;t cashed my deposit chech for the lease.

OhKay 07-17-2016 06:39 AM

First of all, call the landlord about the check on Monday. You don't need to be worrying about that right now.

Unfortunately, you do have some medical problems that don't make the conditions for a procedure/operation ideal, but you can't change any of those things now :hug::hug:
The truth is that most patients undergoing these types of procedures also have multiple medical problems, so surgeons are used to dealing with those kind of issues already.
I remember you said the hospital you will be having it done at has a very good reputation. You may want to look for your doctor's profile on their website, or elsewhere on the web, to see his credentials and read about his experience. The more experience a doctor has, the more prepared they are to handle problems if they arise. It may give you some comfort :hug::hug:

I have a really hard time crying too, Bobby. I know it's a good release, and you could use that right now :hug::hug:

Hang in there :hug::hug::hug:

Mari 07-17-2016 02:03 PM

Good work on the Claritin

OhKay 07-18-2016 05:23 AM

I was happy after I read your doctor's profile because of his education, experience, and involvement in other areas of the medical profession :)

I'm glad the claritin worked for the itching :)

How are you feeling today?

mymorgy 07-18-2016 09:41 AM

best friend alice is going to the doctor's app on wed. she said don't call the office in case they might thunk something is wrong. on top of everthing else my eye hurtss but it could be allergies

bizi 07-18-2016 09:44 AM

I am so glad that alice is going with you. She could take notes as to be able to refer back to them when you get home. He may or may not give you a hand out.

mymorgy 07-18-2016 09:58 AM

i doubt it

OhKay 07-19-2016 07:26 AM

As Bizi suggested, taking notes is a god idea. I do it at appointments sometimes.

Alice will probably be able to remember more of what the doctor says because she won't be as anxious as you, and she will be a good resource after the appointment. I'm glad she's going to support you.

Is your eye red or is it tearing up or anything?

mymorgy 07-19-2016 10:27 AM

no. i can't really write and i willvrely on alicecto remember. thah is why she is coming. also to ask posssbble questions

bizi 07-19-2016 05:42 PM

yes she can take notes for you.

Mari 07-19-2016 06:12 PM

With your stroke, paying attention, dealing with short term memory, dealing with
recall, writing, and dealing with doctors is hard if not impossible.

That's why it is good that Alice is coming.:)

mymorgy 07-20-2016 06:37 AM

sorry i am so irritable

OhKay 07-20-2016 07:59 AM

I'm sorry Bobby, I forgot how difficult writing would be for you. That is something that I should have remembered :hug::hug:

You are not coming off as irritable at all.

I hope that your appointment goes well today. I'm so glad that Alice is coming. She is a good friend

Dmom3005 07-20-2016 09:06 AM

Good luck Bobby.

After the appt. you will know what he thinks that's what really counts.

I though Alice making the notes was the plan all along. See not just
strokes cause not understanding.
