Please post your weight losses here!! :)

Okay, so Froglady actually had the idea. I know we won't always have losses (I had a gain last week, as many of you know), but if we post them regularly, it may help to motivate the group. (Wonder if we can get it stickied?? :) )

Jomar 02-02-2007 04:41 PM

well since I've been out and doing some yard work - I've lost 2 lbs.
that snow and ice thing kept me home bound so I just ate.
but now that is gone and we had about 2 weeks of sunshine but still 20s at nite but 45s days.

froglady 02-05-2007 09:50 AM

February 5 lost 3lbs. :Head-Spin:

nancy-h 02-05-2007 11:16 PM

Feb. 1st - Lost 1.5 lbs. for a total of 11.5 since Jan. 7th.

THEN - I went to Phoenix for Superbowl week-end and ate all week-end!!! So my next weigh in will be scary!

nancy-h 02-05-2007 11:28 PM

Doug;

Welcome to the Weight Forum!

I enjoyed the arrival of an extra 30 lbs. due to Lyrica but I choose to stay on it soooo I have to adjust my lifestyle and eating habits. I wasn't ready to do so for a long time but now I've made a commitment using the Weight Watchers method. My husband is right with me which helps a lot.

Good luck to you. Are you battling chronic pain? Is that why you are on neurontin?

Warmest regards,
NancyH

froglady 02-07-2007 11:41 PM

Bump, bump, bumpity, bump. :grouphug:

Don't need to weigh tomorrow. I FOUND the lbs I lost.:Bawling:

Fancylady_2006 02-11-2007 10:32 PM

I can't loose either. I am eating more than I am exercising. I did exercise today pretty good. I am just plain hungry and have a good appetite. No excuses!

I was very lucky!

Hi All;

Well, after my trip to Phoenix where, if we weren't eating, we were planning our next meal, I was happily surprised to see that I had not gained any weight. I didn't loose any either, I just stayed the same. So this week it's back to following the Weight Watchers program. I really don't mind it and we love the fat free, sugar free pudding made w/skim milk for a little treat instead of ice cream. I'm still getting used to whole wheat pasta and really miss pizza but that's life in the "fat" lane.

Anyway, I'm still at 11.5 lbs. lost :o

Congrats on the awesome loss! :D Why are you giving up pizza? You don't have to, y' know. ;)

LIZARD, who had some last night--only 6 points' worth! :D

fiberowendy2000 02-12-2007 09:53 AM

Since going on my diet officially last Thursday, I have lost 1 pound. Its a start. No excerise just a change in diet so far. Don't tell that to Todd, he thinks I have been walking everyday.;)

nancy-h 02-13-2007 08:15 PM

I can have pizza?

Lizard - tell me about pizza! I thought I should wait to try that until I've met my mid-point goal, another 8 lbs.
But please do tell!

Love ya,
Nancy-H

There are a couple of ways to go about it. Of course, you can have "real" pizza if you want. I just limit it by 1) not eating it often; 2) making sure to eat before I get really hungry; and 3) planning ahead so I know I have the points. One medium piece of one-topping pizza is about 7 points. That's generally dinner for me, but I have also eaten about 2 hours before and will have dessert about 1 1/2 hours later.

If you're intimidated by that, there are some great pizzas from WW, South Beach, and Lean Cuisine.

Have fun!

LIZARD, who loves ya back :)

nancy-h 02-14-2007 12:06 AM

Thanks Lizard,

You know, being on WW is not bad at all. We both feel like we have made wonderful meals together and we are eating all the time. The question remains is how long can we continue it. I hope forever.

Nancy

LIZARD 02-16-2007 04:18 PM

That dang hormonal 2.2 I gained last week?? Not gone completely, but I took a good bite out of it (no pun intended! :D ). Lost 1.4 this week and back to an even 91 lost!! :D

I have a sub leader for a few weeks while my "real" leader is in Florida (lucky dawg), and Shawn (sub) had us make paper clip chains representing a clip for each lb lost. I laughed and told her I'd just buy a box. She told me she'd count them out for me, and I can assemble it later, so I will. :)

LIZARD. just gloatin' :D

nancy-h 02-18-2007 11:10 AM

Thank Goodness

I lost this week, the week of February 18th - 1.5 pounds for a total of 13 lbs. lost since January 06. ~~~~~~~~~~~

Congrats, my friend!

LIZARD, proud of ya! :)

froglady 02-18-2007 01:14 PM

Yipeeeee Nancy. Didn't it feel good to lose those 13 lbs! :)

nancy-h 02-19-2007 02:54 PM

I do feel better - more energy. But what I love is all the healthy food I'm giving my body. Can't wait until my doc asks for a blood test, the results should be amazing. And on the WW plan, I never feel hungry. It's great, even the online program, that my husband and I are doing, is full of items to motivate. So far, so good.

watsonsh 02-19-2007 11:01 PM

Hi guys,

Feeling a bit run down today..the shots I got on Friday are hurting me today.:(

But today I weighted in at docs and down 3-4 lbs but big news if cholesterol is down over 20 points. :D

I'm getting there

froglady 02-19-2007 11:29 PM

Shelley weigh to go! WOW. If my cholestrol went down it would be cause someone shot it down! :D
Sorry you are in pain from Friday. {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}

fiberowendy2000 02-23-2007 08:06 AM

Since my initial weigh in I have lost 3.5 pounds. Its been a bit easier than I thought. This time around anyway!:D

LIZARD 02-23-2007 03:14 PM

.2 gain...but it sure coulda been worse! I certainly shoulda tracked better, too, but next week, I'll be in IL at my best pal's house. She has a WW center near her, so I may duck in and get weighed. We'll see...

HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!! :D

LIZARD :)

froglady 02-23-2007 10:28 PM

I am afraid to step on the scales. Maybe tomorrow I will get up enough nerve?:o

snoozie 02-25-2007 01:28 AM
