Everybody is still sleeping here....we watched a wonderful movie after dinner last night....Little Manhatten...great for young and old.

My daughter and her family are all coughing their heads off...I had to fight them to get medicine down them...and DanActive although it's a little late to start when you're already sick. Now we'll see if taking it for months will help Mr.Alffe and myself stay healthy. :confused:

Jingle we loved your appetizers....turned out just great and they snarffed them down.

Bizi, the chicken was a big hit but it wasn't pretty...:o Either I didn't pound it flat enough or the ham and cheese was too fat to stay inside when I rolled it. Or I didnt' dip it 4 times. :D

The girls are going to help me do Coffee Fellowship at Church this morning so I can show them off.

They all were impressed with the amt. of snow here...they "only" have 14 inches in Indianapolis.

time to put the egg sausage casserole in the oven.

Oh that casserole sounds good! I didn't get any breakfast today.

I should be cleaning in case I have surgery soon but don't feel like it much. I'll probably rest a lot the rest of today.

Cleaning for my party. Trying to catch up on my soaps, but watching the agility competition on Animal Planet. I'm trying to get Poochy t owatch too, but she's crashed on my bed.

Well, that plan didn't work so well, LOL. I ended up vacuuming and washing a couple floors. Cleaned out disgusting cat litter boxes. Did some laundry and even FOLDED it. Not put away yet though which is my huge downfall. I lay it down on the loveseat in my bedroom at the end of the day, and it stays there. :eek:

Now I'm going to play a game, take a hot bath, and watch some RV movie which my massage therapist told me is great.

And ice my damnable knee.

Well I am taking advantage of Mr.Alffe being out of town for the day and am cleaning, and collecting "stuff" for the GoodWill...article in todays paper said that donations are down and they need stuff. Always a good chance to get rid of things I'm just not using.

Cooper has squirrel problems..:D Two big fat ones are teasing him...one on each tree while he twirls and barks and carries on like a fool. They both climb down pretty low on their trees and shake their bushy tails at him.

I managed to burn the suet a little but not sure the birds will care.

I am hoping that BJ is curled up in a chair at Barnes & Nobles...that's my fav. place to picture her.

And I hope that dear Vickey can feel the hugs across the miles. :hug

Am I the only one that thinks the Young & the Restless has all new writers who have no clue what they are doing....I laugh and laugh at things that are supposed to keep me in suspense.....

Ok.......off to find the beaters!

If you think the Young & Restless has lost it, you don't EVEN wanna be an All My Children fan right now! Killed off one of our most beloved characters and, well the writers have ruined the show for me.

I can only watch them at night on Soap Net channel.

I got quite a bit of stuff together for the GoodWill yesterday and took Cooper with me drop it off...he was thrilled, got a dog goody and I got a hersheys kiss....

I have many phone calls to make today and then i get to drive around for a while.Also,my daughter has an appt this afternoon..
I have FINALLY been referred to a real pain management doctor!!!!!:)
I will go next week.
Hopefully i can get all my info in time.You all know how slow the doctors office can be gathering up/sending out info:rolleyes:
I am sooo happy..I am finally gonna get help lowering my pain levels!!!

Lumbar MRI at 2:30PM. Gosh I'm a total wreck. :( I never had one before and I'm so afraid I'm going to freak out in there. :eek:

May I promise you that an MRI does NOT hurt? The tech will be kind and patient because he/she doesn't want you to move the slightest bit. The tech will offer you a nice, toasty warm blanket and ask which music you want to listen to. There will be LOTS of loud noise but that cannot cause any pain - just startle you a bit if the tech doesn't tell you it coming.

You will be so surprised that you won't feel any pain... just hear the noise. If you aren't offered ear plugs (and I bet you are) ask for some :hug:

I consider myself an expert on MRIs - lol- I have those things done on my head every 3 months - :eek:

And BJ, you won't be in there alone...we're right there with you...I'd tell you to check your pockets but not sure you'll have any. :rolleyes:

I wonder who ordered BJ's MRI, because you can tell your doctor that you are claustrophobic and they can order a couple of valium for it. My doctor does. I've had too many MRI's to count but I still get the willy nillies goin in head first, lol.

Another sleep study tonight. Hopefully this time I will actually go to sleep since I never achieved REM sleep the first time.

A nice warm toasty blanket sounds real good right now. :D I just hope they play the music real loud. I almost took a Klonopin but sometimes it makes my stomach do back flips like it's doing now.

Better get this over with. :eek:

Yes -- I'm waiting for BJ's report and I want news about Doody's sleep apnea test.

I do wonder when BJ will get her report. I hear the results of mine within a few minutes. As soon as they are "developed" the tech hands them to me, I carry them to the neurosurgeon's office staff and hand them in. A few minutes later I meet with him and he has the results.

We are going to take the train into Chicago today...have tickets to see Josh Groban Sat. night and I hope I'm not disappointed. Someone told us they'd seen him Tues. night in Grand Rapids and his show is "glitzy"..whatever that means. :confused:

I didn't realize you were waiting. Didn't even turn on the computer last night. :( I went back to work after and worked until 8:30 to make up for the time. Then...crashed. ;)

It wasn't all "that" bad. I just know it's my first and hopefully last. I got so nervous I got sick on the way there and had to pull over. It was sooo loud though and I kept thinking the machine was going to break and I'd be stuck in there. :eek: But I finally calmed down and got it done. I can pick them up on Monday and then need an appt with NS. But first I have to be able to get out of work. My boss didn't like my leaving yesterday.

Alffe I hope you enjoy Josh Groban. :D Let me know how it is because I have tickets for March 1st at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.

Doody I hope you were able to sleep and maybe still sleeping. :D

I got more sleep this time, but the didn't need to come in and use CPAP. I guess that's the criteria for insurance covering the use of a CPAP machine. The technician said that if you stop breathing 30 times, then they come in and put on a CPAP. Apparently the magic number is 30 before insurance will pay.

I never went into REM sleep...AGAIN! Crikies, no wonder I'm always feeling exhausted. No rem whatsoever he said, never made it to that stage. Woke up quite a few times.

So I won't know anymore until I see the neurosurgeon.

I don't know everything that's going on with everyone so big hugs for all.

Dang Doody...I wish you had better results. Do you think the reasons you aren't sleeping comfortably is that you are in an unfamiliar bed? I know I can't sleep where I'm not used to. I can't fall asleep without the TV on either.

Lots of full plates out there. Sending you all my best wishes and hoping that things brighten up for you all very soon.

I have been busy all week and then 2 days ago my darn sciatica started up again!!!!
I hate it because i cant sit/stand or even lay for long....

Yes, I have power, knock on wood. Others don't. I went Friday after work to granddoody's to babysit and didn't get out of there until just awhile ago.

The interstate coming back was good enough and I only counted 11 cars and trucks off the highway and 1 jackknifed semi.

Daughter's big tree in back yard left tons of big limbs in back yard and thankfully not on the roof of the house. Everything's covered with ice and then snow, it's quite pretty.

I think we got about 9 inches here so not too bad. It sure was pretty but there wasn't any going anywhere! Daughter and son -in-law were supposed to go see Cirqe de Soleil (?) and they cancelled both nights and moved to March 3. I would have worried about them driving to it so I'm glad they cancelled.

I imagine Alffe and those east are getting it now. :eek: Stay safe.

It's snowing!!!! :D We're only supposed to get about 5 inches but the wind is howling. But sometime during the evening it's supposed to turn into ice and Hurricane said it will be accumulating ice. Might have power outages and tree limbs down. I've stocked up on candles and batteries just in case. :rolleyes:

Kell I'm so sorry about the sciatica. I hope it clears up soon. :hug: I've learned something since my back problems started. It doesn't like the change in barometric pressure. :( I didn't even have the urge to put the computer on today and that's not me.
