Hi all ..

would like to ask if you would keep some positive vibes and prayers going my way today ... and for the next couple of days ...

yesterday, I received a call from my doctor's office (had blood drawn 2 weeks ago from today) ... the results came back that I need to come in for more blood tests and to schedule a CT scan of my abdomen - >> mainly, my liver ... :holysheep:

I have elevated enzymes ... suppose to be around 50 .. mine are over-excited and are at 189 ... hepatitis ...

wasn't told which stage/level I have (probably because I don't have any of the "root" causes that would bring this on) ...

there's a reason for everything ... and maybe learn more about the MS in the process ..

I had a huge upswing in liver enzyemes on Betaseron, and set the clinic record for how high they went. I was taken off the beta, and put on milk thistle which can be gotten at the pharmacy over the counter. in 2 weeks the level was half what it was. another 2 weeks, and I was back in normal range.

The liver can take a beating. 80% can be gone, and still function enough to keep you kicking. its a very durable, forgiving organ.

had great travel to and from ... and the extra 3 viles taken today should tell us more ... and the 'blood' nurse kindly touched me on the hand to say that there are ALOT of other things that will elevate the liver enzymes .. and like Dejibo said ... it could of been a flair from the breathing issues!

I'm pooped, tho ... the thoughts and prayers worked ... and then they have me scheduled this monday (14th) for the CT scan ...
