Welcome back. Glad you had a good trip and visit :)

Did you get across the river to see the Canadian side of the falls? The horseshoe is amazing and you actually get a better view of the US falls from the Canadian side. My family was there in March and the falls were all covered in ice and the mist would freeze at night and melt through the day making some really cool crystals on the railings and buildings at the edges of the escarpment.

Erin, I'm so glad you had a wonderful time! Aren't the falls just breathtaking? I'm glad you enjoyed our cooler weather. Too bad you were here just a little early for the fall foliage, but it's still pretty. You are very lucky to have such a wonderful aunt & uncle. Hey sweetie! How are YOU? Are you feeling better? Seeing Lilli was just the medicine I needed! She was such a blast! By son was waiting for me @ home, though and Mike and I were texting like TEENAGERS! LOL!:D

I have been a BUM all day and am loving it! LOL!:D

I WISH I could have brought some of that gorgeous weather back with me! We'd be soooooo comfy right now!

Hey hon! you know, Mike and I were just talking about that very thing! If we are able to sock away some $$$$, then we will buy a home in Allegany!:D Hopefully the real estate prices will be somewhat the same in a few years! Right now you can get a really neat place for around $30,000! Can you IMAGINE? :)

If we ever DO get a place there, then get ready to be one of our first house guests - I'm not kidding!:D

We could hang out and just talk - it would be a blast!

Hey Brian! I've aleady posted on your other site, but I thought I'd respond here as well!

We weren't able to get to the much prettier Canadian side, but it was still gorgeous!:D

I would LOVE to have that weather here in TX! We are actually thinking about trying to put away some money and purchase a home there for when it gets too hot here! The real estate prices are really low right now, but we have more important things to think about - like remission! LOL!

Glad you had a safe and happy trip. Great to have you back on here. Aren't you enjoying the norther we have in Texas this week? It was down to a cool 89 degrees today. LOL! Seriously, good to have you back and hope things go well for you in the coming days!

Erin!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've missed u! Am so glad u're back! Glad u loved it and enjoyed urself!

My mom went to a specialist and even though her eyes are all whopper-jawed, and she had a slight reaction to the mestinon, he is calling it... STROKE... and said she will eventually just get better. Er, she is not getting better.

Now, she has been having strokes as she refuses to give up smoking and drinking and has uncontrolled diabetes - and refuses to test her blood saying she just "knows" when it is high (ha ha no) and eats mostly carbs (mom, you need to eat some protein - I'll eat these crackers - mom, that is not protein - but the box says it has 2g protein!). I swear, it I end up like that I want someone to shoot me! But I digress, I know she has had several strokes, but I still think that her eye thing and her overall weakness is more MG like and is not going to get better. But oh well.
