Our host is Kicker, so she gets to choose the categories. There is a different theme for each day, including Animals, Science & Technology, History, Geography, Religion, & Music. Most are either "easy" or "intermediate."

We have a lot of fun, but we need some new competitors, so come join us!

If you want to check out the site, go to www.funtrivia.com. There are thousands of quizzes and thousands of players on the website, but in our private room, there's just a handful of us MSers. You'll recognize our usernames from NT.

If you PM me your email addy, I'll send you a special invitation. The site doesn't send out trash emails, so not to worry.

OK, I'll bite. Trivia is about all I know anymore. :D

Just a quick note - I try to choose categories I might know but seems other know also. Twink often does well and needs(to put it gently and kindly) to be BLOWN OUT OF THE WATERS!! No, it's really a gentle and non-competitive game. It is also great for personal fine motor and cognitive skills. I only lose because impaired mouse skills make my time longer (that's my story and I'm sticking to it), And then I also get questions wrong. But it is fun, especially when you win. It's sort of like Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader. A "real challenge". PM me with any personal subject requests.

I'm usually pretty good at trivia (yes, even geography) but this time it might as well have been printed in Martian.

I have a friend who was ALWAYS beating me on the trivia games, and then I found out he was cheating, googling the answers on his stupid iphone when I wasn't looking. I should say I HAD a friend. Ptuh.

Some friend, Blessings! This game is timed, so he'd lose if he cheated cuz he'd be the slowest. :p

Anyone else? So far there's a nice group of about 14 of us (give or take). There's room for more!

I never could do Trivial Pursuit. One time at a sidewalk sale I found cards for the kids version. So anytime we played my girls and I would play from the kids cards. I don't know how I ever got to be an RN. I guess cause I never saw any use for trivia an it never stopped anywhere in my brain long enough for it to stick. And I include geography in trivia. No use for it!!!!

If you took the time to Google you'd lose because of the time even if you got them all right. Speed. not always (sometimes saves me).

I have to laugh when I see how many answers I get wrong! And even if I get them right, my speed is really slow.

We're "MS Only Trivia", butttt, you can't just "find" us, you have to get an invitation.

This is a great site. I formed a group on here myself a few years back, and played with a group of Aussie MSers but I had to give it away.

Just thought I'd let you know that you should be able to join up without an invitation.... or you used to be able to.... by clicking "Create a Free Trivia Account (instantly)" which you'll find towards the top of the page, in the first dark red section (under the blue).

Koala, are you sure a person can join our group w/o an invite? I thought we were a "private" club, lol. :confused:

I'm not 100% sure Twink, but we used to be able to do it that way.

I don't think you can, because I tried that when they wouldn't accept my ID and password. I had to re-register at the private club and only then was accepted.

Try re-registering at the private link. They wouldn't accept my ID until I re-registered.

I just joined by using the link I told you about.
I joined as Koala.... and I got 8/10!

I've been part of another FunTrivia game for a while but it seems to be dwindling away lately. I tried the link given in one of the posts in this thread and was able to sign up by logging out of my account for the other game and re-registering for MSOnlyFunTrivia.

Since I came in by the back door, I won't play unless I'm officially invited since that seems to be the way this is being done.

So did I so I'll bow out now.

This thread does say "Open Invitation" for all MSers. Doesn't matter how you get there!

Hey! Something is just not right.:confused: It just took me 56046 seconds (15 hours) to complete today's quiz?:confused: That was truly the fastest 15 hours I have ever, EVER experienced. LOL Heck, the commercials on TV weren't even over. Oh duh? 15 hours later the same commercials/tv show are one. :D

History is not my thing at all. I guessed at a lot of them total 7/10.

That happened to me once when I used to play it before. Most frustrating!

Then there was the time it timed out after I hit submit score ...... :(

Maybe I didn't log out and it kept me logged in for 15 hours.:eek: Not sure. I went to log out last night and it wouldn't let me as it was doing something for the day. Updating??? Can't remember the message. I better go log myself out as it appears the site is in a different time zone than me. I'll have to remember that when I play.
