here is a thread where we can post updates, get spiritual support and make prayer requests :)

it doesnt replace individual prayer request threads or inspirational posts....just here for those who may sometimes feel hesitant to start their own thread but would like to stay "in touch" here on SSS

so

prayers lifted for all who are going thru struggles right now..physical, emotional, financial, family....whatever it may be.....may God meet you at your point of need and provide, encourage and sustain you

Thanks. :hug: Please keep my mom in your prayers. She's improving each day and we hope she is able to travel to be home with us by xmas. The plan is to have her come live with us.

I can use prayer for strength for the anniversary of my dd passing, and healing, peace for the legal woo's from greed. What happen to closure and healing help?

Thank you for this thread.... I have a cousin who battled cancer a year ago and after chemo was clear...but now she has a spot on her liver and one on her lung. I'm afraid of what this means. Please remember her in your prayers. Thank you.:hug:

Please pray for myself and my children. I have been on workers comp with shoulder injury and non treated neuropathy which has gotten worse since Jan. 2009. My husband got really sick in November and was anticipating a major surgery after Thanksgiving, and I settled with WC just to not have to deal with them anymore.

The surgery got pushed back to December and he ended up back in the hospital Dec. 14 after 2 misdiagnosis at a local ER. He was finally diagnosed with non curable adenocarcinoma and went into Hospice, where he passed away on Jan 14. This has been a very rough time for all of us, and I have no clue how I am going to go on without my soulmate! We were fortunate enough to know that he was dying and were able to say goodbye and spend a great deal of time just loving one another until the end. I feel like my heart has been ripped out after spending 26 years loving someone sooooo deeply.....

I would like to ask that my b.i.l. be remembered if anyone prays or would send positive thoughts and good wishes. He is going for surgery on both leg Monday at the v.a. hospital in Virginia. I pray to my God the surgery helps him regain some feeling in his legs and that he makes it threw surgery safely and recovers on a positive note. I also ask God to help my big sister with strength and comfort threw all of this .
Thank you God! I also ask God, that you use me to help another that is in need threw you may I be of help to another.

I haven't felt so 'broken down' in so long. I thought I was doing well at just not letting things get to me but honestly now, I just need help :( I don't wanna cry anymore and I don't wanna feel alone. I hate when I wake up in the morning, the only thing I think about is how I never wanna leave my room and nothing is worth it. :( I have no one around me that cares at all about how I'm feeling and I don't think I've ever needed someone so badly. I just want to be able to go back to when every day was a smiling day and my heart felt light and happy.

Hope all are enjoying their winter :) We got 17" last week, it's snowing now, and my car has been buried since!

but this is it for me and my life in NY. I bought a condo in SW Florida and it's being renovated. I'm moving after my car is snow-free LOL... not til Spring though... another month or so.
