Going on 3 months with my SCS Implant

Thank you so much for starting this forum. I am excited to have a place to post questions and concerns directly with those who have SCS implants and to be a source for those who are contemplating an implant. Awesome!! :You-Rock:

Scs

I am so glad that there is a thread for SCS patients. I have the ANS system. Anyone else with it? How do you like it?

Rrae 02-17-2010 05:45 PM

Hello Ouellem !

Good to have you!
This SCS forum was just created this month!
It would be great if you started a new thread asking about the ANS. As the forum builds, we'll be able to learn more from each other.
How long have you had your SCS? Are you getting along ok with it?
I'll be getting the Medtronics implanted in one week.

Glad you jumped on board. Let us know more about you!
What pain condition are you being treated for?

Writing as a patient who, I believe, is very near to scheduling the trial implant, I am grateful for the existence of this forum as a means to share and gain helpful insights both pro and con to the whole of the implant process.

Thank you very much,
Mark56 :winky:

Thank you Mark

It's so good to have you!
Please stick around and let us know how your experience unfolds!
Start your own thread and we'll be able to 'follow' along as you get your implant and your imput will be priceless to others (like you and me) who came here looking to see 'real' patient discussion on this very VERY important issue!
It's a big deal to make the decision to get these and it helps so much to hear both sides....good and bad. People need to be aware of what patient's go thru.

Thanks so much for joining on!

Hi Rae-
I truly appreciate your helps to all of us on these threads. I have read a lot today. There is so much of value here, and as you said, pro and con. Yep, I am here for the duration, and if it is of benefit [and if a newbie is allowed to start a thread], I will get another going so we can go through the process of this forthcoming implant together. I meet with my surgeon once again tomorrow. Reviewing the recent MRI and EMG.

Thank you,
Mark56 :Wave-Hello:

Oh ouellem, I am headlong into the process seeking implant of the ANS EON device. Having read of the Medtronics device and their representative support on these threads, I am hoping you will share about your experience.

One with keen interest,
Mark56
