I'm so tired.

Is it the depression, weather, combination of medicines, spring fever, tax problems,or all of the above? BF:hug::hug::hug:

i bet a lot of it is depression...you also wrote that you experienced weight gain...also i forgot if you are having trouble with sleep...i remember you wrote that you did sleep for 16 hours but i don't know if you go to the other extreme....i have hardly been getting any sleep

I'm getting enough sleep now that I'm on seroquel, and two other medicines. I have gone through times where my mind had racing thoughts, tormenting thoughts, and intrusive thoughts that caused me to not get enough sleep. I was hurt at work for many years, and I was angry with distorted, painful, and tormenting thoughts.

Without the meds.,I wouldn't be sleeping, and my ability to cope with OCD,Panic Disorder, depression, and etc.,would be unbearable.

I'm glad that we are not in the Dark Ages. I did a study on the history of the treatment of mental illness. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I don't suffer the same as you do, but I think I'll feel like a new person once Spring finally arrives. Hope it does the same for you, BF.

PS: I'm wondering if spring will ever get here. Just when I saw my tulips and irises poking out of the ground, Mother Nature dropped a blanket of about 4 inches of snow on them! Again!

BlueMajo 03-14-2010 09:34 PM

I think it is a combination of all dear Steve.

Im actually feeling pretty much the same... tired all day... sad all day... confused all day !!! :(

The confusion part is having me freaked out...

Good news Twinkletoes. The spring peepers have started singing here in Virginia.

For some reason, there where frogs coming out to the street on Thursday night. I figured that they where coming out to the road because it was raining hard, and they thought that the roads where shallow ponds.

Springs coming quickley. The frogs think so anyway.:):hug::hug:

What you need to do is give me some of your tired so I can sleep better. I am sorry about your stress. It sounds like stress. But I am not a doctor. But I do remember when I was depressed I was tired all the time. That is a lot to have on your mind. I hope things calm down so you may feel relaxed and worry free.:hug::hug:

hello

I am glad you are doing better, Steve.

here too the birds are out and waking up earlier and singing (it is 5.15am, and they've been going for a while). They do some really complex melodies this time of year - i do enjoy this part of spring.

i love froggies by the way, heheh. :D Not a lot in this area, but i used to live in moister climes... when it rained, i used to love listening to their croakey croakey concerts at night. :D

the dogs in the nearby yard are going nuts - the squirrel that lives there must have come out of hibernation... we keep trying to catch a glimpse of it. The dogs keep trying to catch it, period! They have been practically trying to climb the trees where it lives!

it is looking like i might not get depressed this spring. i hope you, Steve, and everyone else here that has been feeling ooky for whatever reason, feels better soon.

(((HUGS)))

~ waves ~ going sleepy bye's now.

I love the sound of frogs singing. When I drove home the other night,I pulled my car to the back of the side of the house, and a deer leaped out,and ran. I also saw a opossum earlier.

What I found interesting was that there where frogs on the wet road on Thursday night. They where a little smaller then a wallnut. I didn't get out to see what type they where. They looked a little bigger then spring peepers.

After all of that snow, and freezing weather,we have frogs, and all kinds of wildlife emerging. BF:hug::hug::hug:

BlueMajo 03-23-2010 07:12 PM

Oooohhhhhh !!! How cool !! where I live I cant hear to froggies... :(

But we have birds though... :) The can really sing beautifuly plus, they are so funny... dont you love to see them jump all over the place and play with a little tree leaf, etc ?? they can be soooo entertaining... how I wish I could have a garden...

Hugs for all.

Brokenfriend 03-24-2010 03:04 AM

I love frogs. When I was a kid,I spent alot of time exploring a creek that was near by.

I here Owls in the night sometimes out here. They hoot to each other. I'll hear a hoot nearby if I'm quiet, then I'll hear a hoot in the distance.

I also like seeing butterflies, and big moths. There is a beautiful moth called a Luna moth, and they live around here. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Dmom3005 03-24-2010 12:44 PM

Such a uplifting thread.

Donna

BlueMajo 03-24-2010 04:09 PM

Owls !? OH WOW !!!! that's neat !!!

:grouphug:

Brokenfriend 03-25-2010 02:31 AM

Now some of the trees are starting look pretty. The Weeping Willows are starting to show their shape, and leaves.

Such a change from a month ago. From Snow,Ice,and freezing weather,to life that is coming forward. Not a thing can stop this wellspring of life. It is protected, and brought forth by the Almighty. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Dmom3005 03-25-2010 08:46 PM

Glad so many nice springy things are happening.

Here in my neck of the woods, springs wet rain and cold was back.

Donna

Brokenfriend 03-27-2010 01:18 AM

Oh gosh! The cold is back, and the winds, and the rain are coming. That's OK. It will get warm again soon. We have more Spring time coming our way. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Dmom3005 03-27-2010 01:03 PM

I think our rain went your way.

Donna:grouphug:
