Jaye, how does someone register to enter the chat room?

Jaye 08-26-2006 01:05 AM

To enter chat room...

just click on the link. You're there. It knows your username and ID from BT1. If it forgot your computer or you're on someone else's, it might ask you to sign in. Pamster has written a great tutorial, cited above. Glance at that first if you need a boost.

:D see you in chat
Jaye

im still banned

cant get into chat.. do not have permission. guess i will just have to get over it.

Stitcher 08-26-2006 09:20 AM

User/Password

As Harley proably noted, I first logged into BT to post this reply. I then clicked on your link above, entered the same U/P that I used here in BT and was told..."Incorrect Username or Password. Please try again."

I did consider upper/lower case when typing the U/P.

Help again!!

adelle 08-26-2006 01:51 PM

I am also told that I have an invalid name & password. Help will be greatly appreciated.

stevem53 08-26-2006 01:55 PM

I got in chat without a problem

Jaye 08-26-2006 02:21 PM

Carolyn, you refer to "here in BT," while my suggestion distinguishes between BT1 (the one that crashed) and BT2 (this one, which says "Brain Talk 2 Communities - Reply to Topic" at the top of the page.

If following that distinction carefully doesn't help, I suggest a Forum Jump (near the bottom of the page) to the Computers and Technology Forum, where the techs can answer your questions. I was just telling you what works for most people and for me. My second post on this thread contained all my knowledge of the subject.

Sorry,
Jaye

Stitcher 08-26-2006 04:58 PM

Seems I didn't realize the distinction of "1"

Used the "1" sign in and got there just fine.

Jaye 08-27-2006 02:36 AM

How 'bout you, adelle, did you ever get in?

J.

harley 08-28-2006 08:24 AM

See Members List

Harley & CArolyn

Click on "Members List" above - both of you are on it.

Harley is listed as a Junior Member and Carolyn is listed as a member.

I had to change my name to get back in but when I go to the chatroom it has my old name.

You have also emailed me at my private email address and apparently attempted to conceal your true email address. Appropriate steps are being taken.

Thelma 09-04-2006 03:13 PM

If it is sent to you at your own private email [which I guess is not too private] then leave it there or email the person back.

Haven't you had enough of people bringing this crap onto the sites Jaye.

I know I have had enough of it.

Have you heard anything from Tena and if so how is she doing?

paula_w 09-04-2006 05:34 PM

hmmm

Jaye, when you feel up to it see if you can trace it. Our emails aren't too private I don't think. Maybe it's time for a few aliases to reveal themselves at least privately to people you are causing to become concerned. This doesn't have to be difficult but with all the medication we are on and pain, etc. it can cause paranoia.

Thelma, I hear from Tena every once in awhile, she is advocating as always....seems good.

Paula

Thelma 09-04-2006 06:49 PM

Thank you Paula I have lost all of my email addresses do to a little buttinski who was here while I was gone.

Thelma, I noticed that Tena posted on the PLWP2 board yesterday. There's a click-through there to email her.

;) Jaye
