out of the mouths of babe's....
here is my first crack up of the day. grandmonkey (5yr old) has always eaten apples already cut up. today he wanted a whole one. not cut up. so i told him he had better eat it all. not waste it. he just came to me and said "MeMe, I ate the whole thing, but next time don't buy apples with nuts in the middle. They taste awful" :thud: |
That is hysterical....Grandmonkey sounds like one smart monkey already.

ha ha that is good laugh thanks! when mine was 3 she looked up into the sky one day... and swore her birthday was flying up there. Really MOM it is right there next to the little clouds she insisted . :)
KIDS RULE!!!! apples with no nuts I second that notion. :D |
they are such joys. i''m gonna have to start looking at those clouds more closely. :D
mine..he cracks me up all day. such a silly goof. smart as a whip. i learned today that if i want to get a really good spiderman web...i have to turn my hand so the wrist is up..and make the appropriate web spraying sound. i do a mean buzz lightyear lazer. |
spiderman webs hummmm no thanks. There are 2 boys at work they are twins age 3 (I can NOT tell them apart one bit) !!... work at hotel anyways they are such fun to have there they make me laugh all the time. they just came back from India I missed them all while they were gone. like a bit of sunshine had left to India also.
kids really are the best. did you know one can paint their nails with a fry dipped in ketchup ? ha mine did that all the time when she was tiny. :D nice chat thanks. |
LOL that is to cute.....
ok i've got a cute kid story too.... AND its an apple story.... i remember when scott was probally 3ish. he got the potato peeler out of the drawer and handed it to me. i asked him what he wanted me to do with it and he told me i needed to take the crust off all of the apples. That way when he wanted one he could just reach in the fridge and get one:) |
hehehe goofy. :D
we have lots of funny food stories. sistermonkey..who is 23 now had the cutest way of talking. she was about 3 when i asked her one day what she wanted for lunch. she told me a boy cheese. i asked her if she knew how to make one..cuz i sure didn't. she said.."yes you do mommy. it's a girl cheese but you put lunch meat in it." hehehe...will still call grilled cheesem girl cheese...and with meat...boy cheese. 20 years later. |
Boy cheese--cheeseburger??
Couldn't boy-cheese also qualify as a cheeseburger??!??:D
|
Hehehe. Sounds to me like you might want to be a bit more specific next time, Miss Monkey. Now lil' monkey's gonna have apple tree branches growing out of his ears. :p
Imagine what might have happened if he'd been eating a peach instead. |
giggling....
:D
Duringa very hot and humid summer day, our youngest, at the time was 4, came running out of her bedroom with her bathing suit on, and looked at her sister who was sweating, and said, "put your swim suit on, it's much cooler, Cuz you're naked underneath. " She'll be turning 19 this summer, and we still laugh about that. Love children |
:p hehehehe
love it! |
