Another weekend is upon us and I am wondering what everyone's plans are. I plan to play scrabble with a friend on Sunday. I was with bf last weekend but he's out of town this weekend so I won't see him. I may try to take some pictures tomorrow of something. The real estate guy didn't want to pay hardly anything so I doubt I'll work for him.

The weather was great today but is suppose to rain Saturday night through Sunday.

playing games on the internet

Hi,
Do you plan any games on the internet?

Can you think of something relaxing / calming?

M.

waves 05-22-2010 06:56 AM

not much

as usual not much this weekend. tv and job hunting.

Dear Mari, i know of all sorts of games on the internet. what sorts of games are you looking for? i mostly play puzzle type games - typically visual pattern-type games and word games. also there is a unique kind, call GROW series games - the author only has 4 or 5 published - i have played all but i occasionally replay them for the heck of it. those are really cool, animated flash games. the graphic design is really original and cute. each game has a set of objects / icons you add to the game scene, by clicking on them. the scene "grows" differently, depending on the order in which you add things. the game is solved when you add each things in exactly the right order. there is only one solution. but the cool thing is that the innumerable "wrong" solutions produce really cute results also.

Waves,
I found that site. I found an easy one and a hard one. The easy one I got.

So I will try some more latter.

Bizi, I didn't know that Lost still came on or are they reruns?

Mari, I don't play any games on the computer. That game that Waves described sounds interesting though.

Waves, that game does sound interesting that you described.

My ankles are hurting from all that walking I did yesterday in my flip flops. It is mostly cloudy here today and I do not do well when the sun is not out. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I will walk soon when my food digests.

bizi 05-22-2010 07:07 PM

Jeff just came home!!!!!
Still feeding harriet with a syringe...but she acts better and actually ate some diluted catfood from a dish with much encouragement....:)
went to the gym this afternoon so that was productive...
lifted weights and walked on the treadmill for an hour.
he brought me the best stout beer YUMMY!
I am drinking it now, then we are heading to a chinese restaurant buffet but they have mongolian barbeque so that is what I will get.

Hi,
You cat helper is home!
The mongolian barbeque is a good choice at a Chinese buffet because it is very low fat and sugar and you can make your own choices.

Good news about 2 cats being fully recovered and Harriet coming a long.

Beth, I'm glad that Harriet is coming along and that the other 2 cats are fine.

Today I won both games of scrabble that I played with my girlfriend. Then I went to the bar down the street and then to get some bread to make an egg salad sandwich.

I looked up the brother of mine in town's email address and sent him an email. I am going to try to have a relationship with him as I miss not having any family in my life. My bf called me twice today. He really surprised me by calling me twice today. He's out of town at one of his son's place this weekend.

Hi everyone

We went to my mom's this weekend. After Derrick worked yesterday.

He had a graduation party with the church in Kokomo, which he really enjoyed.

I am so glad I had asked if he could be added to there list. We haven't
made it to our church in a while. With my mom being sick and then
having trouble this year I was there more than home.

So Derrick got lots of money it seems. I wasn't expecting that though.

Just the luncheon and church gift card. But it was so nice.

I know that made Derrick feel good too.

Hi,
I stayed in the house Saturday and Sunday.
I sent Hubby to CVS for my meds. They only gave him one.
I'll have to go back for the other two when I feel good.

I'm starting my new med. . . . not sure what to think about it. . . . . kind of worried.

Dear Donna,

congratulations on Derrick's graduation.

Dear Bizi,

i hope you feel better today. glad Jeff is home and Harriet continues to improve.

Dear Barbara,

glad you reached out to your brother - i wish you well with that.

Dear Mari,

it can be hard at first. but the transition period might be worth it. if you feel too uncomfortable, please call your pdoc. if he doesn't suggest a dosage decrease, ask him about that. remind him that you tend to be more sensitive to meds.

Thanks Waves.

I found it so neat to see his name in the paper last night.
