Peter EDGELOW'S BREATHING & RELAXING CD's

I'm a BIG user of Peter's exercising program multiple times a day.
I just called to reorder Peter's air pillow and they finally have a CD on his long program.
Yippee!
I can take it along where ever I go now.
Peeps don't seem to have VHS's anymore.

HAS ANYONE TRIED PETER'S:
Breathing CD
Relaxation CD

Are they a must too?

Is there a number or E-mail address/web site for the CD's etc... I would like to look into ordering them...
Thank you..
Dawn :Thanx:

They are new since I've seen Peter and was wondering if anyone had used them and if they are worth the $.

That's good news!!

I've been waiting for it to make it to C.D. My tape is wearing out.

I have used both the breathing and relaxation tapes. I don't use them all the time, actually I listened to them once and that was it. If you have taken a mindfulness meditation class, or yoga or done anything like that to relax, you pretty much have what you need; bear in mind that's just my opinion. Before my injury, I took yoga classes at the gym and had C.D.'s at home for when I didnt make it. I feel like I have a pretty good grasp of those relaxation concepts.

I love him!! I can't recommend his methods highly enough!!! :Grin-Nod:

Grom :)

Hi:
I checked out Peter's web site and it looks like you need a physical therapist to order the CD & equipment. Is there any place I can order the CD without needing a PT?
Thanks!
Diane

website not active, any ideas?

Hi Iris,

The Therapy place I used to go to see Peter last year is called Physiotherapy Associates in Hayward.

As I mentioned in one of my posts before.. Peter has retired,

but you might want to give them a call @ (510) 732 7881 and see if they can give you a number in Santa Rosa, Ca, where you can order the CD's and exercise DVD from. I would still recommend doing it under the supervision of a therapist.
The audio CD is fine without supervision as it is just a very soothing background sound and includes his very soothing and guiding voice for relaxing and diaphramatic breathing.

Good luck,
stos2

I agree. I have been searching and cannot find anything except some library that lends them in california.

Hmm, you'd think the kits and other PTs that he trained would be still active...
I can't seem to locate anything selling or otherwise.

I just spoke with them and they do sell the whole kit. I don't need the gym ball, but I am going to purchase the rest of the kit.

it includes dvds, cds, foam roller things, pillows, a lot of stuff. the only thing that I didn't need was the ball because I have one. since so many have indicated this has been helpful I did buy it.

Edgelow's breathing / relaxation CD helps

I had the opportunity to learn from Peter while he was practicing and the relaxation / breathing part of his program was his emphasis with me. (I have bilateral TOS).

How do you get the your auxiliary breathing muscles in your neck to relax? You diaphragmatic breathe. The relaxation CD walks you through that.
