My brother just left for a hospital "out of the country" for ccsvi liberation procedure.

He had the MRI, Doppler etc. done in a private clinic here in Vancouver, and a week later is off and gone to have it done. His MS is progressing rapidly and he is now using a walker and soon to be in a chair. So he feels there is no time to waste. I have to say, I am concerned for his well being and wished he would wait, but, then again, my MS is stable, so it is much easier for me to wait until there is more information and an approved procedure.

I will keep you all posted on his progress.

All the best to your brother, Sandra. CCSVI does sound very encouraging, but like you, I prefer to wait until it's been tested and retested!! Please let us know his results. :)

I agree, I wish him great luck, and I would prefer to see him wait for some responsible testing and results to pour forth, but in his set of circumstances, I am not sure I would make a different choice.

i will add him to my prayer list.

I hope you post how the procedure went for your brother and which country.

Here is an article on CCSVI. I am cautiously optimistic.

Hi SW,
I pray your brother has improvement. Let us know how he is doing, okay? An update if you can would be great.

I have some Thyroid issues right now, but as soon as that is solved I plan to get tested and get the "Liberation Procedure." I totally believe in the CCSVI procedure.

As a side note: The Thyroid drains into the jugulars. My problems could be related to a blockage or back-up. I am not the type to wait it out. I, like your brother, will go fast forward to find a test place, and then the procedure if needed.

I am sure I have blockage (from other past problems too). I am not bad, MS wise, as some may be, but age and my belief that a blockage anywhere in the body is not normal for good health. LDN has helped me a lot.

I hope you let us know how he is doing. We really would appreciate it. Thank you for letting us know about him..

Wish you luck and keep spreading the CCSVI word!

Sooo, the scoop...
He is doing well, walking around his hotel room now with only one cane and walking with canes instead of a walker for distances. Tomorrow he will move from his special spring and arm canes to regular canes. He said that right away his feet changed color and were not cold anymore, and that his fatigue was lifting. He said every day he sees small improvements.

I don't have medical specifics but hopefully I will do when he is home in a week and I can see him.

Thank you all so very much for your kind words.

I will let know as it happens...
