Good news Bad news (condensed)
 

I haven't been around for awhile so here's the:

Bad news: DH had a heart attack last Wednesday :eek:
Good news: It was mild and he had an angioplasty
Bad news: One of the two bypasses he had in Dec was plugged again. Doc said you look healthy on the outside but you have a very sick heart.
Good news: He has the best surgeon in the area and having two stents done which will help.

Super Dooper Good news:
We are great grandparents!! :D:D
Our Granddaughter and hubby are proud parents of a baby girl Cheyanne Renee! 8lbs 3oz and 20" long. Born Friday the day of the angioplasty.
Bad news: They are in Ohio as are the rest of the family so a long way from us
Good news: Hopefully DH will get Doctors blessing so we can fly out in early Oct.

Janie, I'm so relieved that your DH is okay. What a scare! Make him follow doctor's orders so he can get well enough to travel. BTW.....you don't look old enough to be a great-grandparent. :) Congratulations!

And I would LOVE to babysit. Send her out. lol.

That's good news about your DH's prognosis. It sounds very hopeful..:)

It has been a crazy week of stress here. Kaylas pregnancy was difficult as she had a too small uterus, high blood pressure and high proteins in her urine. We were all worried about her and Cheyanne. She and her husband are both 19 so very young to be going through so much.

Cheyanne was just too big and scrunched in the ultrasounds we saw; I figured when they did the c-section she would look like a slinky! I had her picture to show and tell DH when he came back from his procedure so he was thrilled.

He's glad to be home covered with bruises from blood thinners and has a really cool "speedo trim". :rolleyes:

It's pretty cool to be a Great Grandmother at 61 years old! My 85 year old Mother is just thrilled too!

Janie -- I'm so glad to hear the GOOD NEWS has overcome the BAD NEWS! Prayers are going out for your DH, GD and GGG......and what a privilege to have your mom around at this point. Be sure to take lots of photos. It's not many families that have FIVE generations together at the same time!!!
