What's on your plate???

Yay...the wallpaper arrived so I'm back at it, hoping to finish before the Notre Dame/Michigan game starts this afternoon.

Also have the NBC rerun of 9-11 nightmare on...trying not to fall off a ladder while watching it... also wondering why I am watching it...as if once wasn't enough!

What's on your plate?

FeelinGoofy 09-11-2010 11:13 AM

going in to work to call BINGO :) gotta love getting paid for playing. :)

Then going to the museum where my husband works to look at the chocolate exhibit. OU plays at 2:30 so i hope traffic isn't horrible on the way to work. I try to avoid getting out until the games start. BUT i LOVE living close to the university. :)

I'm going to my little princess's 2nd birthday party! And the best thing about that is all 3 of my sons will be there!

I'm trying to figure out why I had such a lousy sleep last night... lots of stuff stirring around in my mind including the horror of 9/11, the unsettling behaviour of my manic boss and looking at all the mess around me.

I've worn the same hairdo (what an old fashioned word!) for about 15 years and decided to let it grow...wanted a Bobb I guess it's called.
Today, I hope/pray to get it all cut off!!! I cannot stand it one more moment! It's touching, actually covering my ears!

The wallpapering is done and I like it except for the air bubbles...can't decide whether to take a needle to them or let them alone.

I'm so glad that Meg came and shared with us...wish BJ would do the same...and Abbie..I miss you!! Waves, I hope you are feeling better too.

Still laughing here about the frog. LOLOL!

Hugs for the room. :grouphug:

Speaking of air bubbles and frogs on your plate ... will wonders never cease! I just discovered that your avatar had a sequel -- "Another Froggy Evening": http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=Z0DY...eature=related. The ending got me thinkin'...

Well, I'm at work and things are very slow down here by the water... thankfully no rain so I expect I'll get some of the lunch crowd in a while... in the meantime, I do my "work" here :D

I'm happy with myself as I have supper in the crockpot- a mixture of country-style ribs with fresh potatoes, onions, garlic and green beans from the Sunday Farmers Market - I poured a can of chicken brother over it... and voila! Can't wait until 6... in the meantime, I'll drink some healthy teas :) here at work.

I have the next 2 days off and in that time I hope to figure out how to get photos off my cell phone without having to send them all individually to email  ... I might have to make a trip to the mall where I bought it...

AND, my new HD tv has lines all over it so I can't watch it... so I'm whining to the cable company to reset the darn cable box... always something!

But in the scheme of things... very little on my plate that I can't handle right now.

:sing: Addy

My plate is full of the blessing of celebrating my grandson's third birthday on Sunday. To get there I have an important WC hearing tomorrow. I have also started back to college with a full load and I am in class 4 days a week. Seem to have gotten the heart problem under control but the RSD is rearing its' ugly head again.

Addy 09-14-2010 09:44 PM

WOW Lisa  you really have a full plate....

... its okay not to eat everything on our plate... right... isn't it?

:sing: Addy

I am reminded that my dad used to say "There are children STARVING in this world...clean your plate!"

But our plates are imaginary ones..a way to share information and yep, not necessary to eat it all.

It isn't that I'm clueless....I just don't want to go there......

Am going to cook for the critters today...there's a chicken in the crockpot for Cassie and peanut butter melting on the stove for suet. We have so many hummers at the feeder...I always think of Scrabble when I see them.

Hugs for the room.

Alffe 09-16-2010 04:36 AM

Hope springs eternal dear wish....I belive in happy endings.

I'm up early (again) and have been reading at other forums...Mark, I am just in awe at all you have been through since May..Thank you for sharing what I call positive results..not quite a happy ending YET but one day soon I pray.

Also just read and (borrowed) this diet that might be of use to those suffering with Chronic Pain..

http://www.rsdrx.com/four_f%27s_diet.htm

I'm going to try to get back on the treadmill today.."if Mark can do it, I'm not going to let broken ribs stop me!"

What is grace? I know until you ask me; when you ask me, I do not know.
