Hi Guys & Gal's,
My name is Laurie, I live in sunny Queensland.
I had a brain Tumor removed about the size of half a kiwi fruit during the start of the new year. I was in hosiptal for around 2.5 months as I contracted Bactieral Meningitis and spent 10 days in ICU and battled really hard.

I still feel like there is something still not right, not sure how to explain it. Walk around in circles not getting jobs done. Scared as hell of hospitals! Off sick from work all the time with head aches! Have really got bad nerves! So still pretty much LOST.

Havent talked to the doctor yet, don't really know what to say.

you sure have been thru a lot. i don't blame you for being wary of hospitals.

i would consider letting your dr know about your condition. maybe there's something he could do to help you.

anyway, welcome to NT. look around the forums and i'm sure they'll be one perfect for you.

I am glad you found this site. Lots of great people are here. I am sorry you had to go through having a brain tumor. Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor. There will also be people here who may be able to offer some advice. Be good to yourself, you have been through a trauma, and that takes some time to heal from just by itself. I do understand not liking hospitals very much. I cried weeks before my surgery, because I didn't want to go through it all. I came to this site for help, and I did find it. ginnie:)
