Has anyone tried this? Seems too good to be true but I'm curious about it.

I've heard about people having a hard time trying to get billing stopped on things like this. I'd be very hesitant to give my credit card info to any of these companies. If I wanted to try it bad enough I think I'd find one on ebay or somewhere else. I doubted it really worked but was wondering if anyone had good results with it. I think it's all the power of suggestion that some of these folks are experiencing.

mrsD 01-02-2011 01:16 PM

There are other energy blocking things sold as jewelry too.

Up to 300 bucks for those! I can't recall the name of the one that is so expensive. If it comes to me later, I'll put it here.

I have hundreds of crystals...I make crystal balls you know.

None have done much for me except to be pretty to look at!

One on the left is really clear but the flash made it pink...quartz.
The one on the right is quartz and amethyst.
The one in front is jaspar, pyrite (iron crystal) and quartz. They are on my shelf over the monitor.

Those ads make me think of those fake miracle healers that give the church a bad name.

I've had a friend hounding me to get one. Wow, a cure for every known illness, and only $20! Who knew?

Blessings2You 01-02-2011 02:04 PM

A friend of mine got one at Walmart; don't know if it's the "original" or not.

I just read somewhere recently that there's some support to the theory that a placebo works for some people, even if they know it's a placebo. Thinking you're going to feel better makes you feel "better".

mrsD 01-02-2011 02:09 PM

I just read on a "scam forum"... that the balance trick on the video for this product is very obvious. Watch closely next time....

Without the bracelet the guy in back pulls the volunteer to the side and back.
With the bracelet he pulls down... so naturally no loss of balance!

It is a simple trick.

Another posted that if you buy one and get one free... the total price is $80. !! They charge 36 dollars just for the shipping alone. That is worse than some Ebay sellers (the worst).

In the words of my dear Grandpa..."hogwash":D

P. S. When I saw the i before the renew bracelet, I thought it was a new MAC item.:D

Kitty 01-02-2011 02:19 PM

I'm gonna tie a string around my wrist and see if I feel better. I'll keep you posted.............

Get those crinkly rubber bands, the kids are all wearing. My Grandson put a couple around my wrist and I sware, I'm cured!!:p

Kitty 01-02-2011 04:32 PM

I tried a scrunchie....like I use for a ponytail. I feel better already! I'm wearing a blue one right now but might change to a pink one later......or get really creative and layer several.

I wonder how people get on TV with an infomercial? Sally, you can be my demo model and show how it's supposed to be worn. :D

Blessings2You 01-02-2011 05:28 PM

I wonder how the folks at TV stations who accept money to perpetrate such things on gullible people sleep at night.

I'm thinking one of those strawberry twizzler things might work. Do they make chocolate bracelets? I can feel my balance getting better already...as I totter toward the Lindor truffle bag to see if I can flatten one into a bracelet. If not, I'll figure out something to do with it.

The Amega Wand:

This is one of the 300 dollar versions of energy blockers:

http://www.washingtontrade.com/amfusion-wand.aspx

It is for the upscale person, who believes that if it is expensive it must be good! LOL

There is also a "generic" one that is energized by "crystals" before shipping... duh? That one is only $85 or so. LOL

I have one of those fake pearl bracelets that was supposed to attract money when you wear it. its worn down to nubs, and the elastic is stretched out of shape, but hey millions swore by it to attract money, so just imagine if we combine it to attact money and balance! wheeee! :D

Power Balance Braclet

[QUOTE=Kitty;730846]Has anyone tried this? Seems too good to be true but I'm curious about it.

Hi Kitty,

I bought one under the name Power Balance for 15.00 I've really did not noticed a difference, so I threw it in the drawer, but your post reminded me of it so I took off my magnetic braclet and put it back on. Its charged with positive ions I believe or something like that. I'll let you know if I notice anything in a couple of days.

Blessings2You 01-03-2011 03:05 PM

Did it attract money?

wow,, good question. The thing is that I am really good with my money. I invest well, I dont slurge spend, I am cautious and conscious of where every penny is. So, did I add to my net worth while wearing it? yeah I did. Would I have added whether I wore the bracelet or not? yeah, probably. I offered it to a friend who teeheed and turned it down. I stop wearing it years ago, and my financial picture remained in the same flow as before the silly thing.

I think a rubber band would have held as much magic, but sometimes we all need to believe in the tooth fairy. :D

I apologize but I had to laugh at this thread, but appreciate the links and good information.

While on our cruise, two nights with 12 foot swells, people were talking about this bracelet they had bought to prevent sea sickness. I saw many of these same people with their heads in a paper bag on the way to their cabin.

Thank you for sharing this.

Dejibo 01-06-2011 08:41 AM
