Not A Rant.

I'm feeling a bit out of sorts(as my Granddad would say), today.

My Daughter in law's Mother died Wednesday, the day after, DIL, Dawn came home to VA from the Army, in Afganistan.:( Her Mom had been ill but was feeling fine at a mother/daughter reunion party on Tuesday and they had a good time....the next day, her heart gave out....like she was waiting for her DD to be safely home before she left this earth at only 64.

Also, my 19 yr old Grandaughter is in the hospital being treated...(don't ask, it's personal), and I am so upset and worried about that.:(

It is just horrible to have an illness that keeps you from jumping up to the plate at times like this, when your loved ones need you. You just sit here and pray and hope for the best.:(

Thanks for being here, friends..:grouphug:

Hi Sally,
You're at the plate already. Prayers and hope, and knowing someone supports you emotionally is sometimes what a person really needs in times of trouble. I'm sure they're grateful to have such a caring person in their lives.

Thanks for sharing the stories - I'm glad we can be here for you, too.

:)

I hear you, Sally, loud and clear. My 21-year-old granddaughter also has some medical issues, some of which will involve hospitals, and though I'm only a couple of hours away, I can't do a stinkin' thing!

Well, except pray, of course, and I'll be praying for you and yours.

I'm thinking of you too Sally. I couldn't go to the doc with my son today because I'm just MSed up to do anything but sit. I'll say a prayer.

My SSon called me to tell me that they knew his DW's Mother was close to death and thats why, through the Red Cross, she got to come home a month early, from Afganistan. They were able to fulfill a couple of things in her Mom's bucket, before she passed away.:)

I haven't heard how Granddaughter did with her new Doc today, but no news is good news right? I think DD is trying to save me worry.

Thank you all for keeping us in you thoughts and prayers. You're the best!!:)

A never ending battle of life
