moon over water

Hello to all the moon watchers! The moon came up red over the bay last night and I was out with half our neighboorhood ooing and ahhing at its huge size. I live on the west coast of Fl. I was thinking of all the people on this site at that time and wondered how many were watching. Glad there are fellow sky watchers. How many set the alarm at the Red moon during a night eclipse a month or so ago? I was up at 2 am and it was a deeper red than even last night. I would have loved to see this site from the top of a sky scrapper too. Ginnie:D

I did not see any red last night just that it was so bright out!
wish I would have seen it red! what time was it there maybe tonight it will be red also?

The moon appears red when it is low on the horizon. I saw the red / brown color very early --before it was even dark outside.
Later on in the night the redness was gone.

WOW Blue thanks for sharing,
We had so many clouds most of the night, then the clouds cleared much later, but could not get a detailed photo.
I really enjoy the the masterpiece. :)

It was cloudy here all night... could see the light and the size just not the moon... :(

Oh well... There will be other great looking moons...
