Springtime Barbeque
Hey Gang, we are going to have a Spring bash BarBQ at Pooh's place in Nowhere Nebraska. It's on the map. You can buy copies in OZ. Rae knows where that is. SO, y'all come down, no one is exempt. We will descend on Pooh this afternoon into the evening. I will bring the Beef Tenderloins, Angus of course, and for those of you who claim to be veggies or vegan, there will be carrots to grill! Everyone Come! It is POT LUCK! Irish and British are NOT excepted, so do show up!! We'll need drinks, salads, dessert, lots of that. Pooh doesn't know it but she will provide all of the paper plates, napkins, flatware, cups, and LOTS OF ICE! Cause it is probly boiling HOT in Nowhere now! SAFFY get in that car of yours and start driving, we want to see it! Jackie and Jenna, no exceptions! This is a mandatory fun time, or else![gee, I wonder what that means?]

I'm just having a naughty (but nice) glass of red wine .. now I'm not on the Oxycodone I tell myself I am able to have a glass or two some nights .. especially when it's sunny !
My stim is now scheduled for (roughly) JULY .. (as opposed to May which they originally said) .. but at least I will be able to enjoy TOOTLE and enjoy recuperating in the (hopefully) sunshine !! |

Well Heck RAe, I plumb forgot the band, you bring 'em and you and I will sing!! Saffy's bringin jerk Chicken and Naughty Wine. I never had Cat Sushi, does it taste like mountain lion? Hey we gotta round up the rest of the crew, or it won't be a full fledged PARTY!! WOW, if all would chime in the band would be happy cause there would be dancin'. Pooh, if they all come this would be a good time to defrost your freezers, just get it ALL out. I can cook some good on the BBQ. But if Saffy can bring Chuffin Arthur along with her spicy Jerk Chic- I love spicy- then that will be cool. SAFF, is your Dad able? Oh Dessert, Strawberry Shortcakes with REAL Whipped Cream! Rae will have to shoot the pictures. Now, do you have parking for all the cars Pooh, like Saffy's Tootle?:D |
R U KIDDING???? we can park on the alfafa field south of the house, or the corn field south of the pon and river, just have to stay out of the "low spots" but maybe "hunny" could leave a tractor and chain for those who dont see them..... Might be best if you let me park the cars once you get here... Kind of a valet thing here in the middle of nowhere:D

I would LOVE it if everyone showed UP!! I SO want to see how many of us we can STUFF in to Saffy's 'TOOTLE'....and we'll take a pic of that and send it in to G's book of World Records.......Of course....I highly recommend we do this BEFORE eating all the MEAT! ...... one 'toootle' from any of us packed in a car like Tootle and omg the impact of an explosion with that much velocity would SURELY send us all to the MOOON!!! ..... it would NOT be a pretty scene to have to clean up after! :eek: Think of all the butt and gut-buzzers that would be lying around in the aftermath......WHO amongst us would be willing to do the 'identifying of those body parts' :eek::eek: ....... :rolleyes: My GOODNESS ain't we a CLASSY BUNCH! :cool::D |

Cause it is so like gabblin and gobblin outdoors and we would have so many folks come that the noise would be HIGH and the Band would be crankin out the tunes. And we could take turns going to the Moon in Tootle! Gee I had not thought of a methane powered rocket before!! Do you reckon? Would there be enough methane for the return trip once we got there. We could Boldly go where no Gut Buzzer or Butt Buzzer has gone before. Starship Tootle!:D

Hi Barb
When you make it to China, take a hard right turn and sooner or later, you will cross the U.S. West Coast. Keep going until you cross at least three mountain ranges and the land becomes pretty flat. Ask someone, where is Nebraska and they are likely to point ThataWay. Follow ThataWay for quite a while, then start looking for somewhere that looks like nowhere and you are probably pretty close to Pooh's place. It will have this little White Car parked out front by the name of Tootle and a bunch of other cars run off into an alfalfa field. If you hear hootin and hollerin, then you are at the right place! Bring dessert. Everyone is pretty pigged out on BBQ beef by now!:D

Yes I was in the pond for a short time, had to go dry off but was sittin by the fire pit keeping it fed so we could keep warm.:D

The Ponds
Way'ell Now, I see heah. Pooh probly woulda parked our 4x4 in the pond to get a feel for its low range, oh wow, the mud, the mud. And Saffy, you waoulda needed a few jerry cans and pontoons to drive Tootle over anyway! Yup. But that online BBQ was good, finger lickin', almost could smell Pooh's fire all the way out here in the mountains..... or was that a forest fire?

Ok, the next party is at my place, we can meet at Honeymoon Island State Park, swim in the Gulf, go shelling for sand dollars, and spend them in Clearwater. I think the snow has given ya'all brain freeze, so come on down! It was 82 today! Perfect party weather

Pooh- Snowed heavily here today, so I empathize with you. So glad the BBQ was yesterday when it was so nice and warm!
Barb- Would Love to have party at your place, shelling for sand dollars sounds just fine! I'll bet it is pretty spectacular scenery! THEN, we head off to Ireland for a party, should be absolutely great in the spring, the REAL SPRING, not this snow stuff we have. Do a little Florida, the Carolinas, Kentucky, Kansas and the Merry Old Land of OZ! Do you suppose that is where Dr. OZ got his degree????? Right! Tonight's definitely THE NIGHT ! It's a balmy 20 degrees here in Derbyshire. The BBQ is coming out of the garage. I will take some pics ! Not having much, just a couple of burgers and some chicken satay and salad .. you guys bring the rest !! :grouphug:

I was indeed out walking them .. well, my daughter was. She does a full turn of the wood and I just walk to one end and back as it's flat .. but I can still hear the dogs yapping and chasing squirrels.
