Neighbor Hunks

:oI think my DDH, John helped me today, by sending two neighbor Hunks, both named John, to my rescue.:cool::D

I needed a little strongarm help, moving some heavy furniture. They were so cute and funny and they loved helping me. I actually called one and got no answer, so I called the other one....They both showed up.:o

I love my neighborhood Johns!!:D:p:D

Kitty 04-03-2011 01:59 PM

I wondered where you were all day. Is that a new "mood" you've posted or has that one been there for a while? :p

NeuroNixed Craig 04-03-2011 02:16 PM

Geez Sally! I think the grin on your avatar is "TWICE" as big as normal. Scary.....

tkrik 04-03-2011 09:49 PM

Sally got some new entertainment today.:D It's always such a break in our normal routine when fun things like that happen. Glad your neighbor John's were able to help you out. That is awesome!

I have gotta move to a better neighborhood. There are no hunks in my neighborhood. I do have a neighbor named John, but he is no hunk.:(

Kitty 04-04-2011 09:41 AM

Same here. One house next door to me is vacant. The other has an elderly gentleman who, while very nice, is no hunk. But, to be fair.......I'm nothing special to look at, either. :o

Where are you this morning, Sally?

Dejibo 04-04-2011 11:14 AM

my neighbors are too busy bragging about how much money they pay others to do such things for them. Then they call you and want YOU to do it for Free! They dont care if you are sick, well, or struggling as long as their boats get into the water. I would NEVER ask my neighbors for a thing, its too expensive.

'Cuz that woman has moves!:D It's her charming sweet personality that wins these hunks over. And, I heard she has some chocolate chip cookies.;)

*tkrik making a grocery list to get ingredients for c.c. cookies.
:D Actually, I definitely don't have any hunks as neighbors. :D

Hmmm the SalPal Shuffle, I'm going to google it now, shave my legs and prepare to get me some of those cute young handymen. :D

SallyC 04-05-2011 08:06 PM

You guys are so funny:D. A woman living alone and in need of help, but not too needy, is irresistable to most men. I affectionately call them all hunks because, to me, they are. In real life some are and some, not so much and they come in all ages.:p

I suppose I am little charming, fun and so appreciative and I don't make a pest of myself.:)

If you're married or have hunky Sons, It doesn't work..lol...If I were younger, I'd be known as the neighborhood Widder Jones and a threat to their wives..:D:p:D Some are married, some not. teehee! But I'm harmless.:o...maybe not.

Sally is a hunk magnet. I bet she has stories that would melt our ice cubes. :Speechless: :lookaround: :icon_eek:

OMGoodness! Sally, please tell. I want to hear this.:D

*tkrik pulling up a chair* Oh, and Sally, I'll take one of those delicious cookies.

Twinkletoes 04-05-2011 11:37 PM

Lucky you, Sal!!! *reaches for a cookie*

My neighbor across the street is an old dude who looks like a skinny Santa Claus.

The one next door to him is a younger dude whose personal hygiene is questionable. I told a friend the other day that if he (the neighbor) was a couch, I wouldn't sit on him.

You have ALL the luck, Sal!!! :D

Dejibo 04-06-2011 06:40 AM

im with Twink, I wouldnt want some of my neighbors dragging thru my home. Either they would be casing the joint, or making fun of my non brand name things. I have one who is a label dropper. "oh! the isnt a tiffany lamp...what a shame, it could have been so pretty." or "why would you not get a Sony TV?" When I point out that it is a Sony Bravia its then pffted. From my coffee creamer to my couch. I just cant take her/him being in here. The other is always in trouble with the law, and frequently shows up drunken. Wants to sit and sob and tell me how hard his life is. eeeek!

I want sally's neighbors.

kicker 04-06-2011 07:37 AM

Here comes that Sally person. Quick!! Hide your husbands!! 8-D Sal, you know I love you and know you're not like that. Can I have a cookie?

kicker 04-06-2011 07:43 AM

Sigh. Long ago I had a John Deere repair guy. Gorgeous? Even DH could see he was. He once was a pool boy(or guy) in Hawaii. He's gone now. Talk about eye candy!! DH accused me of breaking riding mower on purpose to get him out here. New guy looks like an ugly dwarf. Mower never needs servicing now. Coincidence?

kicker 04-06-2011 07:45 AM

Thighs and arms to die for. Can I have another cookie?

kicker 04-06-2011 08:07 AM

Give me all the )@"^ cookies!!!!

Lol, I always tease DH that the reason I work so many hours is to bank enough to hire a pool boy some day. He just shakes his head and says, "whatever, we don't even have a pool". :D

LOL! That would happen here. We don't have a pool. BUT . . .we have a yard that the pool boy could work on and that would take more than a day. So would that work?

*tkrik calling Sally to see if I can borrow one of her hunks.*:D

SallyC 04-06-2011 12:33 PM

I've found that men are the best peeps to ask for help. Women usually become overly possessive and pushy helpful..KWIM? Yikes.

I had a Neighbor who was so helpful when our electricity went out for a week. Bringing me food, cooking thing for me on her grill(2 women offered to do that). I said no, but the one did it anyway.

I left the door unlocked for her during the day and she would just walk right in, without knocking. I really really did appreciate her help and when our elec. came back on (8 loooooong days later?), I wrote her a check to reimburse her for her food and trouble.

I told her that I was going to lock back up and to please call, if she was coming over. She came knocking on my door and I told her that I couldn't get up right now (if she had called, she would have known that:rolleyes:). She never spoke to me again and soon moved away!

Hunks, on the other hand, don't pester the chit out of you, aren't always available, but come running, when they can and then leave you alone.

Guess that makes DBF a hunk.:D Sounds just like him and I live with him. :p

Dejibo 04-06-2011 12:44 PM

I too find women want badly to be helpful, but once you let them in you are kind of held hostage if they have adopted you. My mom has some wonderful, kind neighbors, but when the women adopt her, its horribly hard to get them to STOP! She only needed help during the storm. now that the walkway is clear, and the sun is out, she doesnt need dishes of food that she doesnt like, understand or know how to store. Folks were upset when she didnt eat their food. She has NO idea what piella is, or sourbroughton, or Schintzel. She wouldnt eat it, and threw some out, and just gave back full plates of other stuff. They gave her food on good china, and then were upset when she dropped and broke a dish. It took months for them to be polite again. They thought her to be rude, and ugly, when it was them that forced themselves on her.

DONT leave your door unlocked! Not for anyone! Im proud of you Sally.

ewizabeth 04-11-2011 12:21 AM

Still waiting for pics Sally.

Kitty 04-19-2011 08:55 AM
