I wonder, I wonder... 252.
I wonder at how fast this summer seems to be rolling along!
I wonder at dreams and how they can slip in to nightmares at the blink of an eye. I wonder at family and wonder if we are truly intended to be close or if some of us are just born into the wrong family? I wonder at friends and wonder if they were intended to be our family instead? I wonder why we had so many days at the end of spring that were hotter than the middle of summer and now we have temperatures that are cooler than the middle of fall?!?!? I wonder why man made cotton balls are often softer than cotton balls that are nature made? I wonder why the price of gas is cheaper than on one side of town than it is on the other.... and it's the same company?!?!? I wonder why gas in the big city is $3.03 and here is $3.39? Only 60 miles difference and the same trucks deliver the same gas picked up from the same place and driven about the same miles? I wonder if anyone else has been watching The VOICE? I wonder who is going to win??? I like all 4 of the finalists.... they are all great for different reasons! I wonder if I should wander away now.... Love and hugs to all! Abbie |
"I wonder at family and wonder if we are truly intended to be close or if some of us are just born into the wrong family?"
I wonder more about this than anything else. I wonder how someone can keep breathing when they are choking with family pain I wonder how/WHY this happens. |
I wonder,........................................... ...................
:confused:can I say, my "friends" *are*, my *family*!!!:):)
Phyllis:) |
I wonder why I always want the 1st apt. at the med. center....
I wonder if I'll get over this...:D 7:00 am mamogram... I wonder if it's because I don't "wait well"....(are you laughing Barbo?) I wonder what everyone is doing for the holiday weekend... I wonder how Goofys' daughter is feeling...better I hope.. I wonder when Addys trip is.....so happy you are doing that!!! I wonder if Lara has ever surfed... I wonder about so many things....:confused: |
I wonder,........................................... ...................
:confused:how will I deal with my therapist, telling me, today, she'll be
leaving in a few weeks, because, she's a student/ intern and she'll be finishing school.:p:( Phyllis |
I wonder how daunting that must feel for Ponygirl. :( I hope you can find someone who isn't going to leave. It's such an important thing for a therapist to be stable and on-going. All the best for that.
I wonder if I can tell Alffe that I was a teen in the sexist sixties. Thank goodness for the revolution of the seventies. The surfboards were boy's domain. Generally girls apparently were to sit on the beach looking pretty. I body surfed. Actually I body surfed in waves that were much too large and dangerous in cyclonic season even. I used to go off on my own and just go in the water wherever I wanted. Usually where no-one was around. I would totally freak out if my children ever did that!!! I love the ocean so much. Water is my element. I wish I was able to get in it again. <sigh> Sometimes I can hear the ocean from outside my home and I'm a few blocks back. I wonder if I can say to our very special Canadian friends... "O Canada, O Canada". Happy Canada Day! |
I wonder when my tummy will decide that it's ok to eat breakfast again...
I wonder how much I am looking forward to seeing "Bill Cunningham New York" tonight....I love New York and this documentary by this octogenarian is decades of his picture taking.... I wonder if the sun will ever come out today as promised... I wonder how that little piney squirrel can eat that whole ear of corn in such a short period of time.... I wonder how happy I am that Cassie doesn't fear thunder like Cooper did...she pays no attention at all. I wonder how Doody is, and wren, and ducky, and BMW, and Nikki, and Goofy, and wish, and hippiechick, and too numerous to count....:grouphug: |
I wonder how freaked out I just got because Buddy (my cat) brought in a chickadee... poor birdie... I couldn't save it ... and I feel so bad...
I wonder if I'll find a doctor who can help me with my aching tooth... what an awful night I just had... took a tylenol every 4 hours... I wonder if I can thank Lara for remembering its Canada Day... which means there will be NO dentist offices open! so I sure hope that the drop-in clinic has a magical solution! I wonder how stupid I am for waiting to go to the Dentist... always hoping it would just go away... procrastination does not pay off folks! I have a dental plan, too... so there are no excuses!!!!! I wonder about lots of things but my main focus today is pain!!! |
I wonder, if, I can thank Lara for replying to my post, about, my therapist...
:confused:I wonder, next time, can I ask that, they *don't* give me
a student??? I wonder whether, that's within, my rights as, a patient??:o Phyllis |
I wonder if the red blotch on back of neck is the start of shingles? co worker just had it . wonder after searching on comp it sound like it might be. I wonder if it is nothing and will just go away .wonder that I will find out I guess in a day or two if it spreads or goes away.
Wonder on low pain energy, Hugs :grouphug::hug:,Blessings and Prayers to the room ,readers lurker and visitors. PEACE BMW |
I wonder if I can say how much I'm worried about you dear Alffe.
I wonder if I can tell Ponygirl, that here where I live it would be your right as a patient, but I don't know how your health scheme works there. It should be your right. I wonder if I can say to BMW that when I had shingles it was not so much of a blotch to begin with, but more of a really, really painful group of lumpy blisters that spread. Tiny to begin with, not large. If you are worried, please go to doctor asap as there are treatments these days that can help if given at first signs of the problem. I sure hope you don't have the shingles, BMW. I also wonder how lovely it is to see Abbie posting more again. :) :grouphug: |
I wonder if I can tell dear Lara not to worry about me...but it is sweet of you to care...I am just trying to do one day at a time in this new "experience" and I am so fortunate to have a husband that cares...and family that cares...it is truly a learning thing for all of us and sometimes it takes an "explosion" to get my point across and that isn't fun for any of us...
I wonder if I can tell BMW how hopeful I am that she doesn't have shingles....Mr.Alffe did and it is so painful!!! Pls keep us posted. I wonder how many farmers mkts we will go to this morning and why? lol I say why because my tomato plants aren't even blossoming yet....let alone making fruit/vegies...... I wonder at how much I have to look forward to this summer...our grandaughter coming to Indy for two weeks (hope we get to see her) Bizi and her husband coming, and a trip to N.Y. in Aug. for 10 days....I love N.Y.!!! Have tickets to see both Billie Elliott show and the Mormon comedy thing...can't remember the name.. I wonder if Barbo has finished all those peas.....:D |
Peas
Nope! Still working on them!
|
I wonder at the wonder of pain killers... took a while but I'm now on a presc. for an anti-biotic and pills for the tooth pain...
I wonder how lucky I am to live in Canada where everything I did and will do to have this tooth taken care of will cost me nothing. I wonder (and hope!) that you don't have shingles my marshmallow friend! And I wonder how Lonely1 and my :Mexican: friend are... and if they read here much? I wonder how the mois are? It must be very busy now with the children out of school. I wonder how great your summer is going to be dear Alffe and if I can tell you, too, that I think about you often. I truly hope the meds they have these days are good for you and I thank God that you have Mr. Alffe! I wonder if I will ever get to New York City - its my dream to take my sister there and to see as many plays as possible! I wonder if I'll swim today... |
I wonder???......................................... .................
:)I wonder, if, I can thank Lara for taking the time to look
at and answer my question! :rolleyes:I wonder how I'll do this week, without, having the medical supplies, I need, because, ******* Medicaid won't pay for them to be shipped out to me, until, the 11th!!:p:mad: :rolleyes:Which, will keep me in the house, until, then!! I wonder, if whoever made up, how Medicaid works, knows what I'd like to do to them?!? Phyllis |
I wonder if Ponygirl will call her caseworker and/or the medical supply company, and request an update in her use of these supplies so she won't run out like this in the future. The medical supply company most likely will do this for her.
|
I wonder if I can tell Mrs. D,...................................
The medical supply company will only send me my supplies
on the sam date of each month, because, Medicaid won't pay for them, before, that. If I run out, it's my problem. Medicaid, is the issue, not, the supply company. They just can't send me the stuff, before, Medicaid is willing to re-imburse them. That's only on the same date of each month. Phyllis |
Well, then I'd check with your caseworker and ask for a slight adjustment to her paperwork... so you won't be caught in a pinch like this. What happens to people getting supplies like this who get very ill and increase their use? They get a new alotment figure assigned. Medicaid will override pharmacy requests that way easily by phone and make adjustments via computer. So if I were you I'd check this possibility out.
Most of the medical supply places who help diabetics for example also will call doctors to get the necessary approvals and pass that information along to medicaid or medicare depending on the situation of that patient, via computer link. Today things are pretty well done so patients do not go without whatever it is they need. |
I wonder, if, I can tell Mrs. D.,................................
I don't have a case-worker, because, I don't deal with the Department of mental Health. I don't have those issues. And, it's not
a situation, where, you *could* get very ill. This is only a urinary appliance, which, attaches to your body. Phyllis |
I wonder if Phyllis knows that I think mrsD means the Social Security/Medicaid caseworker ;)
I wonder if I can scoot outa this broom without being noticed lol :Slip: :OuttaHere: |
I wonder if I can thank chemar for straightening that out for me!!...Lol
:eek:I wonder if I can tell chemar that I never thought of that, but, yes,
I will look into that!!:) I wonder if I can thank chemar for that great suggestion!!:) :oI wonder if I can tell chemar that I think they want to scoot out of this *room*, not, *broom*!!...Lol;) Phyllis |
Everyone on Medicaid has a caseworker who prepared your papers to receive your supplies in the first place. They keep a file on you, with your ID number etc, and comments from your doctors, documentation etc.
You should have a Medicaid emergency number to call when you need help. It should be on your ID card. The medical supply place probably has this number too. Often they do this service for you, so I would call them first. If they require documentation from your doctor, they often will get it for you. If they then tell you to do this yourself, then you can do that. So if circumstances change and you need a bit more for your needs, this caseworker, social worker, whatever you want to call him/her will on your behalf increase your alotment of what you need. Just like your doctor can increase your drug quantities per month allowable. They do this all the time for people, because things change, health changes, life styles change, conditions change or whatever. You just don't have to do without. |
I wonder,........................................... ..................
:)if, I can thank *everyone* for their help, regarding, this
aggravating issue!!:rolleyes::p:mad: Phyllis:grouphug: |
I wonder, if, I can ask,...........................................
:confused:would it be the same place, that, takes care of food stamps??
Because, I do get them. Phyllis |
I believe that the food stamps come from another government agency... Medicaid is typically run by your state govt. It could be that your State Medicaid arranged the food stamps. It is hard to say for sure on that since states vary. Do you live with someone who can help you with this?
Call the medical supply company that sends your supplies and ask them who to call, or if they will call on your behalf. Say you need 15% or 20% extra from what you are getting now. Tell them you are drinking more water in hot temperatures, etc. That is a good honest reason if they should ask. |
Mrs. D.,............................................... .................
The medical supply company said, they need a letter from my
Dr., which, she did write. But, they claim, they never go it. Phyllis |
Call the medical supply back and ask if they accept faxes.
Get that fax number. Then First thing Tues morning call your doctor and explain you have NO supplies for personal needs. Say the supply place never received the doctor's letter and ask them to fax it, ASAP. They should do that for you. Ask them to fax the company supplying you with the new order. Call them back after lunch and see if it has been done. Keep on them. Then when they say yes, then call the medical place and tell them you have NO supplies and NEED them desperately and please do the order now ASAP... lots of Pleases...etc. Those patients using mail away services should check their medications and supplies once a week a head of time, so they don't run into holiday snags or shortages for some reason. I know its tough, but that is the way it is these days. Lots of paperwork, lots of details, etc. |
Mrs. D,................................................ .................
I can do the first part, *but*, saying, I'm out of supplies, completely,
I've tried, before. They *don't* care!!! |
