Who has an iPhone or iPod touch ? Recommend it !!??

Im thinking on buying me an iphone... Im so tired of my Blackberry plus I hate "ex" friends talking to me on black berry messenger...

I have an ipad and love it so far, so, I think I would like to have an iphone, but I thought it would be better to ask ! :o

Pros and Cons ? Do you like it ??

I asked about people with iPod touch because it is basically the same so...

I got the original iPhone. I think after--what?--3/4/5yrs, I've dropped it beyond what even Apple planned for. The camera looks like a night camera now: all photos come out green.

I never had a Plan after two years @ AT&T. Their service SUCKS! half the time I can't make a phone call,

I will be buying the next iPhone that comes out with service from Verizon. They have far & away the best coverage for phone. The only drawback is that so far you can't talk on the phone & surf the net concurrently. That's inconvenient. NOT a deal breaker.

I could live pretty contently with my iPhone, iPad, and a photo-cell pack to run the on. Plus water, fire, my critters.

My son has the newest iPhone. He loves it.

The pic in my current siggie was taken from it. He claims that the photo quality is excellent now.

You have to be careful how to hold it, as you can put your hand over the antenna. He used it alot at our summer place this year...watching the storm cells approach etc on weather internet sites. Battery life seemed better in this version from the first one he had.

Hi! I can't speak for the iphone, but I bought an ipod touch in January when I was trying to replace a few of my electronics, since I had lost everything when my house burned down. I had gotten one for my daughter for Christmas, and she really loved it, and so I thought I'd give it a try. I really DO like it, and I have quite a bit of music on it already. Also the picture taking is great! I had purchased the 32 GB one, and that seems sufficient so far.... Then, I went ahead and bought the new ipad 2, mainly for some of the music apps that my husband wanted. My dilemma there was that I only bought a 16 GB ipad, so when I hooked it up to the computer with my music on it, I had to be careful to pick and choose only a small amount of the albums I had on my ipod, otherwise I would have used all of the available memory just for the music! It was doable, but a bit tricky.

I can't speak for the phone quality of the iphone, but it must be pretty good because so many people swear by them! On the other hand, my son has worked for at&t since before it was at&t - 12 years in the cell phone business, and he suggested to me that you might want to consider an android phone instead of an iphone. Ii have had androids since I switched from my blackberry in February, and it's been great - I have had Samsung phones; I currently have the Samsung Captivate.

AT & T. this provider is pretty good in the boonies where we are in summer too. (new tower helps)

I've got AT&T. Nothing in N.M. except Albuquerque/Santa Fe; in Florida I hardly ever have more that 2.5 bars. Often "No Service" unless I can find wi-fi. Awful.

i guess it depends what area of florida.

i know someone in the central fl area who has at & t... no problems with coverage.

Hey Blue, I bgt an Iphone 4 3 or 4 mths ago and so far so good. GPS, camera, text, music...etc, it does it all. But then, if you lose or break it, you lose it all :eek:

I am a huge fan of the iPhone. I had an iPhone 3, gave that to my sister when I got the iPhone 4 and I love that even more.

I work on a Mac, use iPhones and iTouches at work and other than syncing with various applications they are a dream!

I think that I may turning into an Apple geek.

Yeah "hard" disks are not hard at all to mess up with a decent impact! i haven't dropped my computer (much... yet...) but i dropped my first phone so many times... well... then it began to act crazy.... putting funny characters on the screen, sometimes, and i had to fiddle with it, and it lasted several years more before it finally gave up the ghost. i still have it althought it is quite dead now... i cannot bring myself to part with its poor dented, cracked carcass :( ... it took a lot of abuse before erhmmmm....

and btw i agree with you 200% on technology.

Verizon has the widest coverage for iPhone. I have one and it works great. Think twice before getting one on AT&T unless they are the only good carrier for your area. Go to each website and look at the coverage map for your area. I'm a sales rep for Verizon and I've always had their service. Many people leave AT&T for Verizon for the iPhone because of network.

Yep, I'll be switching to Verizon just as soon as the new iPhone comes out. I hope it's SOON!!

What I heard is that multiple carriers will receive the iPhone this month. Nothing about any "real revolution" that "will be out next year."

AND... GUESS WHAT !!! I got my iphone today !!! :D I dont care if the new one is coming tomorrow... this one is the one I could afford so... yeah...

My dad rang like all the stores in our city and finally found the 16 GB white one and went for it today... it was my lucky day as they gave me a 50 $ bonus so it was even cheaper... :D

So far, Im loving it...

I went to buy it a case, and when I asked if they had more colours, the guy told me they didnt and that they wouldnt because the new iphone is coming out and it has no sense to have old stuff... hahahaha funny, I just had bought my old phone... ha

I love my ipod touch...i highly reccomend it.

I love it! (iphone) I just got the wiring and handlebar hardware set up so I can mount it to the harley. Now I can keep it chanrged while I ride, and with the gps, maybe I won't be lost all the time :D

we have at&t for our cell phone, we pay about $85 for both hubby and my phones...this sounds a bit high
