Many of the views are from search bots that find the site through Google searches. Not real people. They make it look like many people are viewing when, in fact, only a few actual humans have seen the post.

6. How long ago did you apply? We applied 4 years ago but at this time we still do not have diagnoses other than chronic pain

7. What level are you currently at?

We have applied all the way to the final step was civil court but our lawyer did not think we would win without diagnoses so we started over from the beginning of the processes and we are now on our first appeal again. It’s all so crazy. They say my husband cannot go back to his past job but they feel he can do different kind of work. Yet he spends 80% of his time in bed with his legs up on lots of pillows in lots of pain.

Hi,

Noticed your post. One of the major reasons for longer waits to determine
disablity is due to the back log in claims and not enough judges. Some
states have a bigger backlog resulting in longer waits. I cannot remember
the exact site address but there used to be a listing of the wait times in
various states. Some states have a shorter wait time than others. You
might try googling disablity claims backlogs in various states or something
similiar to see what pops up for you state. I also know in some cases due
to the backlog some claims are being moved to others states.

Hope this helps.

Joydee
