About Majo (Possible Trigger)

Hi everyone I was talking to Majo in Face book this afternoon.
She happened to mention to me that she was suicidal, so I told
her to get herself to the hospital if she felt that way.

Tonight, I've heard she did just that, and expects to be there
a while. She would appreciate prayers and good thoughts.

She is dizzy and calmer right now. But she hasn't eaten solid
food in a while. So she was going to get something.

I also hope that she feels better soon. She must be going through alot of emotional pain right now. May God bless her. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Dmom3005 01-08-2012 05:35 PM

Thanks Jo*mar

It took me a while to even remember the name I needed to post.
So people would know it had a situation in it that might trigger.

I didn't realize there was a icon.

Update: From Majo

She found out that her hormones are off. They are working on
that and have added a medicine.

She will see her doctor tomorrow. But she is already feeling better
just with getting some rest I think from the calming meds they
gave her.

She is really sleepy, so she is sleeping a lot. I personally think
she hasn't been sleeping either.

She says thanks to everyone, and she loves you all.

BlueMajo 01-09-2012 11:51 PM

Hey !!! Im back :o

Im sooooooo sleepy :o

Thanks for all your posts  I could feel the love and the peace you sent me

My parents dont get it... Mom went to see me on sunday and she was like "why are you here !? dont you want to go home now !?" Go figure...

Oh well, had I busy day today... out of hospital, went for a walk (my doc HATES when I stay home), and then went to see my doc... I stayed there forever :o We talked and talked and talked... he is awesome.
Gave me cymbalta.... We will see... I have just heard and read good stuff about it, so, Im hoping it will work nice on me :)

Looks like I was doing everything the wrong way... eating the wrong food or not even eating, sleeping bad or not sleeping, my hormones were all wrong (again !) and yeah... :o A real mess... my blood sugar was sooooo low, so, he thinks that's what caused my distortion of reality and made me feel that bad...

I have tickets for a cello concert tomorrow and asked doc if I should go... he was like "OF COURSE YOU SILLY !!!" :o So, if Im not lethargic like today, I might go...

Thank you for everything...

Hey Blue

It sounds like you have a cool doctor. Is he your regular doctor,or is he new? BF:hug::hug::hug::grouphug:

Mari 01-10-2012 02:37 AM

Dear Majo,
'Glad you are home. Enjoy the cello concert.

Ask the doc for help on how to take care of yourself. ---- it is a lot of work to learn. .. it is not something our mothers taught us. ;)

Not sleeping myself, insomnia.....spending too much time on Facebook.

It really is good to hear that the doc has a good grasp on what is going on. I feel much better reading that.
Hugs to you, hope you enjoy the concert.

Hi, my friend, and thank you so much for coming on to give us an update! :) I'm so glad that they figured out what was causing your body so much grief, and I am so glad to see that you are home now. It's never fun being in the hospital :( . I hope and pray that now that it's been figured out what was wrong, that the new meds will really get you moving and happy again! :Head-Spin:

Make sure you get enough food, sleep, activity, etc. Those things are very important! :winky:

BlueMajo 01-15-2012 04:59 PM

Hi my friends !!!

How is everything ? Thank you so much for your lovely posts. They feel awesome.

Im stressed to go back to school after all these days of mess.... :( I hate the atmosphere there.... And I just discovered this girl that hates me, gave candies to everyone me except me.... How humilliating !!! :( I feel werid, scared, sad, etc.... Ugh. Wish I could stay home like for ever....

I went to the cello concert. It was great and too much fun. Oh the guys were so handsome and cute. LOL :D

Really, dont want tomorrow to come.... :( I will hate to see their faces :( oh crap....

I have been sleeping too much.... And my stomach feels weird sometimes....

BF yes, he has been my doc for a while now.... He is awesome but he is too busy, so sometimes he doesnt have much time for me :(

Ponygirl 01-15-2012 05:07 PM

Ponygirl 01-15-2012 05:27 PM

You mean,............................................. ...............................

 *You*, want to go, back??? Or, are you being forced? That doesn't
sound right for someone, who, just, got out of the hospital?!?
Sweety, I'm *not* trying to tell you what to do, honestly! But, look at how stressed and upset, you get *just*, *thinking*, about it!:( Do you honestly, think, it would be in your best interest to take all of this on, again, so soon???:(

,

Dear Majo,

Can you do half days for a week?
Perhaps you need to be in the lab. Tell the director that the doctor says you need to come in only for half a day for the next five days.

Or make up whatever you want.

You are already the star of the lab. The people in charge value you. They can manage with half of your presence for a week.

Yeah... I HAVE To... :( I DO NOT WANT to... :(

Oh well... Yeah, I think I will go and do my stuff as quickly as possible and then leave.... ugh....

I hate that I know they hate me... :(

Thanks for thinking about me....

Ponygirl 01-15-2012 09:41 PM

Sweety, listen!

:( I honestly don't believe, it's true that, they have you!
However, if you, think, they do, I would just say to them, " Ya know, I really feel sorry for you, because, you're blowing the chance to get to know a really great person!!:) " And you know, what? You're not lying or being conceited, because, you're telling the truth!! :D All of us here at NeuroTalk, know, that!!! :);)

Dear Majo

Sending you lots of :hug::hug: in a carry-bag to take with you to the lab tomorrow. i know how it feels being "outed" ... and it probably is because you are brighter or a better performer in general. it's likely a matter of envy on their part, but it doesn't hurt any less, not to have the kind of camaraderie one would wish for in such an environment.

i am having a hard time too, let's just grit our teeth and bear it. better times have to come along. they just have to.

really work hard on your focus. that is changing focus from others observing you, and your work. try to hone in on your work. let it suck you in, absorb you, frustrate you if it must, but let it engross you, let it fascinate you... take you away to the magical land of neurophysiology. let your mind live there while you are in the lab.

more :hug:s in another tote bag... ;) and wishes for a peaceful reentry tomorrow.

Dear Majo,

Waves has words of wisdom.
Sometimes we cannot please people. Please yourself. In fact, I've purposely upset people before so that they know to give me space. I did it recently to a stupid person and his wife at work. Maybe it was not entirely his fault. I just do not want to try to be nice to him. It would require too much work.

Maybe pretend that you are queen of your own kingdom. These little people do not mean anything to you. They are allowed to be in the same physical space as you. They breathe the same air.
Ignore them. You are the queen of the lab. :)

M

Mari 01-16-2012 10:49 PM

Majo,

Hold on. We are hoping the best for you.
