I need sleep
Hi,
I am barely awake even though have been up for a few hours. My body clock is sooooo confused by having to get up at 9:00 am for work after sleeping whenever I wanted for two weeks. I went to bed at 6:30 am this morning after having been up all night. I woke up at 10:30 with no alarm because I did not have not go into work. FOUR hours is not enough sleep. I had four hours the night before as well. sigh M |
i am so sorry. can you catch up on some this weekend and do you have monday off?

Yes. The weekend and the Monday holiday will be nice. That is good. I am trying not to nap because tdoc doesn't think napping is good. M |
I stayed up to late last night watching csi on tnt. I was up till 2am, then
up again at 6am. Heehee, Not normal for me. But it was good, its snowed and snowed here. And its bad right now. My husband is safe in Gary area. I had two workshop's today, one got cancelled. His comment, he was glad I was home. I didn't need to be out in this either. Heehee, gues I am not a judge in the weather. But it wasn't me really. Donna:grouphug::hug: |

Fifty five dollar co-pay
Hi,
I had to pay a $55.00 co-pay at pdoc's office! I probably paid it the last two times in 2011 but was not paying attention. Wow. Thank God for insurance. M |

yes thankful for insurance...they have spent a fortune on me this last year, last 2 years that is. between right shoulder injury mri, pt then fall and broken collar bone and ot on left arm then all of the face stuff and medications. It all adds up!

i hope you can get more sleep tonight also. it usually takes me a while to go back to a day schedule... going to a night owl schedule i can literally do overnight it seems! LOL. my former pdoc also considered daytime napping poor sleep hygiene. he said resting was ok, and i seem to recall he said if you really need a nap, to set an alarm for no more than half an hour. he was also very strongly against sleep deprivation because of its effects on bipolar mood (induces mania, and to those predisposed, mixed states) however, and when push came to shove, he would tell me, just sleep whenever you can. however, i was not working at the time ... you are sort of between the devil and the deep blue sea in that respect. i send you peaceful, restful, sleep-regulatory vibes... :hug: ~ waves ~ |

I think I took a nap for 1.5 hours in front of the tv. Now I am sleepy again because the meds have kicked in but I am trying to get work done because after the nap I am the mostly mentally alert I have been all day. :Head-Spin: M |

i don't know but when i am exhausted i welcome any type of sleep nap or whatever. sleep deprivation is the worse.

Three hours of sleep
Hi,
I tried to stay awake and got nothing done. Everything I typed came out with errors and gibberish. I am going to focus on being nice today. I am dull headed and out of it, . . . sometimes on those days I end up jumpy and agitated in an effort to stay awake. Maybe I can focus on being nice. M |

Hi,
Saturday night I slept in slots of a couple of hours as I woke up through out the night. I go through this when my body relearns that I have to wake up at 9:00 for work. The cleaning lady was here most of the day. I was doing some work a long with her --- using her energy levels to toss out stuff and organize other stuff. For all the laundry of floor rugs and bedspreads and such I felt as if I might as well be doing laundry by hand: http://bestsmileys.com/cleaning/3.gif Tomorrow / Sunday I will need a low stimulus day. It is chilly here now but I hope to get twenty minutes of sun in the middle of the day. I am finding that the sun helps with mood. M |

Depressed
Depressed and Sleep Deprived
Hi, Last night I had five hours of broken and very light sleep. I need sleep. I was a complete mess today. Tonight: Sad. Feel like crying. Perhaps I can do this: 1. Take meds a little earlier than usua. 2. Take more of the Gabapentin than usual. Usually I take a little less than half of a 300 mgs capsule. Tonight I could take more than half. 3. Climb in bed. Number three is hard. I need a way to talk myself into going to bed. M |
I am very sorry that you are sad, sleep deprived and feel like crying. Maybe you need a good cry????

Talked to tdoc
Hi,
Tdoc and I had a phone session this afternoon. I told her that sitting in the sun 15-40 minutes for two or three days a week since the second week of December has greatly lessoned my anxiety. We spoke about how I am dealing with everyone in my life differently now that I have less anxiety. I told her about the years of horrible sleep paralysis back before I knew what it was. She said she knew about it but I could tell that she didn't know how frightening it could be until I told her today. She asked if I thought that was related to my fear of going to bed. I told her it was only one small part of the problem. I asked her if she could give me ideas on how to meditate with my eyes open. She told me to 1 Relax 2 Slow my breathing 3 Find a spot on the wall across the room to focus on . . . (In other words --- meditate the same way) I can do that. M |

Feels like I need to be awake, sleep just will not come. For the last two weeks now really messed up patterns. Sometimes passing out at 9 pm, only to get up 1 AM.... DENTIST TUESDAY: How much Klonopin?
Hi,
I have a dentist appointment from 2:00 to 3:00. Klonopin questions: 1. When should I take Klonopin of for this? Twelve noon? Twelve thirty? 2. How much should I take? I do not remember how much I took last time. 0.5 does not seem like enough. 0.75 might be more than enough and might make me sleepy the rest of the day. (Usually I take one dose every 24 hours -- 2.5 mgs at nighttime.) I have work to do when I get home from the appt -- it is a few hours of mindless work that requires lots of focus. M |

I just woke up half hour ago without the alarm. I have not taking the Klonopin yet. I am sleepy. Maybe 0.5 will be enough. I ok with going to the dentist. She is wonderful. Hubby likes her and her whole staff too. M |
Hubby wants me to take a trip with him in the summer

UGH. Hubby wants me to go on a work trip with him for a week in June. :mfr_wha: I last flew on an airplane in 2003 or 2004. I don't like planes or hotels or being away from my home. On the other hand, I do not see how I can manage for a week by myself. Hubby really thinks I am going with him. HA! M |

Oh dear
This is how many hours I slept the last three nights: ~Tuesday: five hours ~Wednesday: four hours ~Thursday: three and a half hours This morning for some reason I woke up very early when hubby got up (most times I don't notice.) I could not get back to sleep. Today I have a meeting and a mammogram. I cannot reschedule the mammogram to try to sleep. Something tells me I have to go to the mammo appointment. I would like to cancel all of Friday but I have a big day AND two meetings with my direct boss. I am so tired of looking at my clothes. I want a new wardrobe. I want someone else to drive me to work too. M |

this is going to sound weird but if you're not up to driving, can hubby get you to/from work, and you take a cab to the mammogram place? or the reverse - cab to work, and see if hubby is free to take you to the mammogram appointment? or cab all around? or call in sick to work and get work buddy to update you on the meeting later, so you can sleep a little before/after the mammogram? i am trying to problem solve. maybe you were just venting. i hear you. i am also concerned for your safety though. that is very little sleep you are riding on. :( :hug::hug::hug: i wish you were able to sleep and felt better. :heartthrob: ~ waves ~ :heartthrob: |
