Special Message
I will not give specific names but I do want to put my thoughts here about a very special person who we all know and love & recently became critically ill.
I'd appreciate if you do not ask for names. The purpose of this email is to give thanks for her (your) life. Recently the life of one of my friends (TOS'r) hovered between life and death. Now I am re-reminded of how precious each and every one of our lives are. How fragile life is. I've learned no matter who it is or what happens, what matters most is that people are doing their best to survive not only this illness, but life itself. I am thankful God spared your life and you are still here with us. I pray for your continued recovery, that your pain may ease. You've reminded many of just how precious life is and that we should celebrate every moment. God has a reason for all of what happens to us and I think some of it is already evident. In this season we celebrate life and now I (we) celebrate the life of every TOS'r & RSD'r !! Even though I don't write or add much to this forum you all are on my mind and in my prayers. Hope  |
Whoever it is,
I do hope they will be feeling much better soon. " May God shine over your spirit and lift you up with love upon the peaceful wings of doves" |
Hello,
I believe it is either Martha or Tamara. Which I am very concerned about them as well. They need very good medical care. Faith without works is DEAD. If someone could please PM me. I know people need money to live, but aren't we talking about people's lives here? Nothing goes with you in a U-Haul truck. To every problem their is a solution. It is NOT the almighty's will for someone to parish before their time. God Bless, Roz |
This person that is very ill needs the right medical care. Talk is real cheap. Right now I am on 2 antibiotic IV's. Roz

Hope,
You are a RN get them the help. Roz |
This person is stable right now. Got good care in the hospital and is home now.
I will call tomorrow to ask them to sign in to let everyone know all is ok now. Thanks for showing you care. Hope |
Hi,
Of course I care. I was very involved in humanitarian work before this nightmare. If I get better I am going to 3rd world countries I would also stand in front of a bullet to save a child'd life. Roz |
More info
I am so sorry, my rsd/tos brain stopped functioning. I didn't intentionally withhold her name - just maintain confidentiality which is branded into me since my nursing school days.
When I got the call I forgot to ask if I could share her name - many of us got an email and after re-reading it I saw this: " If I forgot any of my friends please let them know, I'm still kinda out of it and would appreciate your help." This message was from Martha - OC Girl. I hope many of you know her address at home or at least her email. God Bless Us All... |
Oh- thanks for sharing that Hope-
Martha, I do hope you are feeling much better soon. Of course that same wish and hope for better days and relief of pain - goes out to all of my friends here on all the forums. |
Oh Martha,
That's NOT the news I was waiting to hear from you, dang it! :( I AM very glad you are stable and back at home, but sorry as can be you were in such a bad way!! Patience and fortitude, my dear friend (you are the Queen of these, after all. ) God is with us even in (especially in) disappointment and setbacks. Keep the faith! Love you, beth  |
I'm too out of it, what is wrong with me?
I don't know what is wrong with me not telling it all, I blame it on my foggy brain and inability to finish a sentence some days. I really didn't want to breach confidentiality and lose Martha's (or anyone's) trust in me. Heck, I posted this on the RSD forum first where people don't even know her :(
I want you to all to know that when this happened she was home alone. Her daughter, on her way to her softball game, felt she needed to stop by and check on mom. She found Martha passed out on the floor, blue  , not sure if she'd stopped breathing but must have if she was that cyanotic. Her daughter called 911 and she woke up in the ER with her family over her so she must have been out of it for quite awhile that her husband made it there all the way from work before she even woke up. She was in the hospital for 6 days. I get chills when I think we almost lost her and how upset she was when we talked. (of course) There, I am sure that is all of it. I hope she comes on soon to tell everyone how she is doing. Life is so precious. Hope  Love you Martha  |
Hope,
Thank you so much for letting us know that Martha is doing Ok... I'm sure she is still trying to recover and when she is able to she will let us know how she is doing, but in the mean time it is appreciated that you let us know. Hugs  Dawn |
Martha,
I do hope that you are resting and getting your strength back as each day passes.. Get Well Soon... Many Hugs... Dawn http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...nnyDaiseys.jpg |
Today I.... have been in a pissy mood all day. tired and hurting, i guess. Hurting from Friday when I did the idiot/good guy thing, and helped this lady get her broken down car out of the middle of a busy intersection. 15 people drove by before i got there, and then 10 more drove by (at least) while i was attempting to push the car. Finally, some other kind guy got out to help. Still feeling that from today - left arm above parallel to the ground, and owwwwwwwwwwwwww. oh well. My daughter is rolling around, scooting, and now shes up on all fours, fixin to crawl, i think. wow, that is so cool. She can brighten up my day :D no problem.
I'm glad that martha has gotten help and been stabilized! thats frightening, and we should all take a lesson from that. Sorry i've been a stranger for the last month or so- I've been ok pain wise, just the usual up and down bs, but i think the mental aspect is beginning to wear. I think that might mean beach trip time!!! (dabbo in speedo? :mfr_wha: that will NEVER happen. anywas\ys |
Hope,
I am very sorry. Check your mail. Love, Roz |
