What's on your plate?

Looking forward to a quick trip to Chicago today...and overnite in the windy city..a Christmas present from two of our daughters that we had to cancel earlier because of Mr.Alffe's surgery..should be a lot of fun. Cassie knows something is up because I'm packing her bag for the kennel...clean rug, dry food, canned food and snacks. She's taking more than we are! :D

Had a good time last night with some old and new friends at Hacienda...Frozen Margaritas and a bad Cobb Salad but we were celebrating good news for our community...can't say more than that.

Hoping Abbie has gotten news of her niece...still praying.

And hoping Doody will pop in for her hugs. :grouphug:

Being Canadian, and not having attended a university (only college)... well, I only know about sororities from tv. But knowing what I know about "belonging"... I KNOW you and your lovely daughter are going to have a blast today ((((Goofysis)))))

My plate has been extremely full this week with... work! Its a good thing.

Thank you for the hugs ((Ms Alffe)).

I bought a new bicycle and took my first ride this morning. My doctor ordered a stress test and ultrasound on my heart a couple weeks ago. Anyway, I was so out of breath with the stress test and my fibro body hurt for a couple days and I thought...I hate exercise what can I do? Bought a bike.

My emotional plate has been very full the last two weeks helping keep my daughter's spirits up. She was spotting and just a few days ago we found out she has either miscarried or has an ectopic pregnancy. They're not sure. All pregnancy hormones started to drop dramatically. Not good. So now she's been injected with some awful drug called methotrexate to move things along and clear out what's left. She's been very sick from the shots. http://www.ectopic.org.uk/index.php/...-methotrexate/ It's a drug also used in chemotherapy for many types of cancer.

Quote:

Methotrexate is used to treat severe psoriasis (a skin disease in which red, scaly patches form on some areas of the body) that cannot be controlled by other treatments. Methotrexate is also used along with rest, physical therapy and sometimes other medications to treat severe active rheumatoid arthritis (RA; a condition in which the body attacks its own joints, causing pain, swelling, and loss of function) that cannot be controlled by certain other medications. Methotrexate is also used to treat certain types of cancer including cancers that begin in the tissues that form around a fertilized egg in the uterus, breast cancer, lung cancer, certain cancers of the head and neck, certain types of lymphoma, and leukemia (cancer that begins in the white blood cells). Methotrexate is in a class of medications called antimetabolites. Methotrexate treats cancer by slowing the growth of cancer cells. Methotrexate treats psoriasis by slowing the growth of skin cells to stop scales from forming. Methotrexate may treat rheumatoid arthritis by decreasing the activity of the immune system.
She spent the night last night for a girls' movie night. We had fun. She was feeling better this morning.

otherwise I really have nothing on my plate. Don't feel like cleaning, planting, mowing, nuttin...so I'm going to just hang and relax.

Plus i'm pooped from riding the bicycle for the first time today. :o

Love to all.
