I Got Sprayed With Pepper Spray Or Mace Not Sure Which One
 

Hi,
Just a quick hello, hope all is well. Saturday night, Mike, me and a few friends went to this Country and Western bar.
Mike and I were walking back from the dance floor, I felt a mist in my face, then I went down.
He got me in the ladies room, my eyes and face were on fire, burning and stinging, it was the most awful thing. The owner came in with a towel, they called 911, but I didn't go to the hospital, because there isn't anything they can really do. Mike got some up his nostrils, it came from my right side.
I was on the floor in the bathroom, screaming and crying. Then I was soaked from all the water on my shirt, finally I was able to walk with him to the car. I thought I was never going to be able to see again, it blinds you also.
We have NO CLUE who did this, because once it happens, you can't see anything.
It was crowded and dark like a club, so there is no way, I could go back and look around to see who might have done this.
I just wanted out of there.

Oh my goodness what a horrible thing to have happen! I bet you were in a lot of unnecessary pain Nikko! I am so sorry this happened to you! :( GLad you are over this now though, I bet it was a few hours of pain and suffering just because someone thought it would be funny to spray someone with that stuff. Jerks! What goes around comes around I think, so hopefullly they will get it sprayed on them someday. Jerks! :( At least the owner came to your aide. :)

I really wonder who would do this to me, nobody else in the place got sprayed.

Makes me wonder, because we weren't on the Harley, we had my car, and we had been at a place I always go to. So, maybe I was followed by you know who.

When I walk into a place, I always look around, but for some reason I didn't this time.

I know the fire/rescue came, I am not sure about the police.

I know the owner didn't want anything to upset anyone out in the club.

He even said to Mike, I hope this doesn't stop you from coming here. OMG I will never ever go there again.

Unless they had locked the club down, and checked everyone, which they didn't, I could not prove anything, because I couldn't see.

My one eye still feels like sand is in it, or when I blink it bothers me a bit, but I am okay.

I guess I should of filed a police report, but I was in no condition to do that, Mike had to walk/guide me to the car.

It is like as the post I just did, it feels like you dipped your face in lighter fluid and put a match to it.

i don't know what to say...what an ordeal...you are such a strong person...i think i would still be in bed crying....i am confused...did you finally report it to the police..it doesnt sound at all random to me....

Hi,
I called my domestic violence counsler yesterday and I see her on Friday.

She too, said I should file a police report, so I called and a officer came to my house and I filed a report. He said the police should of been called Saturday night, but owner's of clubs don't like the police involved in any type of bad situation.

Since I have no proof, not much can be done. He said he will have detectives go and speak with my ex. I don't think that will do much good.

He said he has no communication with his probation officer. I called his PO, but got the answering machine. Won't do any good anyway.

I am also getting a lot of "unknown callers" which I don't pick up, and they don't leave a message, yet I hear music on my machine before they hang up, like a stereo or a place with music.

Plus both me and my mom are getting lots of magazines that we never ordered.

This is the pits. I have so much to do around the house and I just can't do anything. Been in bed, most of the last few days.

definitely more hugs...glad you are taking action....even if it gets you nowhere now, it will be documented and you know that you have empowered yourself to do all that is possible.....
i would call the magazine companies and try to find out what that is about...that doesn't sound like a coincidence either....i am so glad you are screening your calls....you are one tough act....BRAVO

Good job on filing the police report. IF someone (dirtbag ex) did have anything to do with it, there is some sort of record of what type of crap is happening.

I think he is too chicken to really do anything. Abusers don't like it when tough ladies start to fight back. ;)

BTW OMG! Are you ok yet? That sounds HORRIBLE. You poor sweet thing. I wish I were closer to you sometimes. I would have helped out. Damn. People are so inconsiderate, hostile and just down right mean.

I hope you can find a way to feel safe when you are out. It will come to you. (This didn't help though, did it.) You are a strong woman, and I see you being able to kick butt and end up on top of all of this.

Please make sure you and your mom both contact all the companies
that are sending the magazines.

I would also contact the agencies that do checks on credit. Because
I'm guessing he knows your social security number, and other ways
to ruin your credit.

I would also do some other checking to make sure he hasn't done any
other damage.

I am thinking of you, and I definately see a strong lady.
