My visit to the "medical analysis office"
Cant call her an MD, cant call her a nurse (even tho she hold a high degree as one, and has incredible experience as one.) and the signs in her office clearly state "she doesnt diagnosis, treat, prevent, or cure any disease of any kind" (i guess that covers the legal base) It was a long drive to get to her. The office was clean, and a back addition to her lovely large home. It was bright, cheerful, and product for things on every shelf.
I was greeted by the nurse receptionist. Took a tiny history, and told me she didnt want to know a lot of detail, as the examiner would tell me my history, I would not have to reveal it to her. (ok...) it was quite warm in her office, and i asked to turn up the AC. When she came in wearing jeans, tshirt and flip flops (hippie style) she saw how uncomfie I was. She brought in a huge ice pack to put behind my back, and told me we couldnt start till I was more relaxed and comfortable. If I was in a block or uncomfie state it would throw off her tests. She explained to me how she used to be a medical investigator for some major law firms and its a good detective, but once she ran across a practitioner who used these methods to treat her sick husband, she was hooked. The woman who examined her husband told her he was sick from an old tranutula bite from 1973. sure enough he was bit in Viet Nam in 73 and had never told his wife. She went on to relate how spooky the medicine in America and any country can get and we have the technology to be better. She told me stories about surgeons regrowing limbs in frogs with electrical stim by a certain hour after amputation. and other such stories. She told me about the meridian points in the body and how accupuncture folks use these points as entry points for the needles to stimulate of calm the system. She put a brass conductor bar in my left hand, and used an electric probe to touch points on my fingers. didnt hurt, but sometimes I felt she was pressing pretty hard. She had the electrodes connected to a fancy computer and almost immediately said "you took copaxone, but dont anymore?" I almost fell off my chair. Um yeah, I said. she went on and said "so naturally that means you have or were dx with MS at some point" um..yes. I said without adding any more. She went on to tell me more things I had been exposed to such as bizarre chemo therapy drugs, and wild Native plants from the reservation. She kept probing and went on to tell me how much my tummy doesnt work properly. She kept scanning and said "I cant find your ovaries, did you have them removed?" I said yes, I did. She tied in the chemo and such and said you either had breast or ovarian cancer. either way it was hormone related. WOW! yes, I did. The session went on like that for about an hour. Then she told me how the body is about balance. from 1 to 100 we should strive to keep our body levels at 50. Right in the middle. She told me my kidneys, adrenals, liver, intestines, thyroid...were all in the low 30 and 20 range, and she wanted to add some suppliments that would help bring me back up high enough so my body could fight for itself. She said until she got me into a more stable place (she called me a train wreck) she could not use the machine that my vet used on Jack. it would cause me to jump into an adrenal crisis and I wouldnt be able to fight my way out. Esp with MS she wanted to be careful to not throw me into a flare. She seemed quite knowledgeable, kind, sweet, attentive and sure of herself. After 4 hours of being there, she loaded me up with suppliments and told me why each one was important. She told me that once I finish this bottle, I should not have to get another one, as my body should be more stable and able to fight for itself. She used the analogy of an animal in the fight of its life, and while it was fighting hard, it had been knocked to the ground. Even tho its on the ground, cant raise to keep fighting, it does keep kicking. She said that represents me. She needs me standing before I can undergo what my cat did. I came out with 20 bottles of suppliments. Some are probiotics, some are boosters, some are detoxification, some are vitamins, some are inflammation fighters...goes the full circle. She wants to see me again in 30 days if I do well. if I am struggling 2 weeks. Now, if she only does HALF for me what my vet did for my cat. I will be a happy girl. I dont know yet if its voodoo hocus pocus, or BS but I thought the same thing when I saw my cats vet and he waved magic wands and used electric stim and suppliments. My cat is up and running. He is off all his drugs. He hasnt hidden in weeks. He grooms himself. plays with Lily and enjoys laying on his deck watching the birds. This was a cat that I took to the vet and said "fix him or put him to sleep" so, Please if there is a God in heaven let this lady have the power to calm some of my symptoms. She did not try to talk me out of any of my meds from my MD nor did she bad mouth my MD or the medical community. As a matter of fact, she went so far as to say she would love to see them join hands and accept each other. She praised my diet, but pulled me off raw milk. Wants me back on pasteurized because my gut is so weak so is scared that one parasite would throw me over board. She went on to talk about things I was exposed to when I was 12. That is the year we moved back to the reservation. ( i never told her that) and she did reccomend that I have all my mercury fillings removed, but said that conversation was for another time. I said "good because that is expensive, not covered by dental insurance, and im not convinced of the theory.) so, I left her inner sanctum sat with the nurse in the billing office, where she told me about each and every supplement and how to take them, when to take them and why. I paid the bill in cash (cause she dont take plastic) and off we went. We had a 2 hour ride home where we had plenty of time to discuss what just happened. While we both remain skeptical, we do find that there must be some truth to it, as we have now met and talked to several of her patients (including a paralyzed swimmer who is going to London for the para olympics) and when you have this many people telling you what she did for them.....it makes you think. Also, like we said, if she does half for me, what Jacks vet did for him, we would feel blessed. I will keep you informed on this experiment. Let me be your guinea pig. She asked my MD to pull baseline blood work, which I will have on Monday (my 50th birthday!) and that is the day I begin taking the suppliments. I was happy that she wanted to monitor what this is doing for me and to me. Spoke to my MD this week and he is thrilled to give her whatever test she wants pulled. Cross your fingers! |
Crossing fingers..
If you don't mind my asking, how much did this trip cost you? |
Thanks for taking the time to write this, Dej. Can you remind me what this kind of practitioner is called? There seems to be some of the Naturopath in there.
Best to you, ANN |
My nephew's wife keeps trying to get me to go to this Naturopath doctor that she goes to. He doesn't take insurance (or insurance doesn't take him) but his fees are much more than I could pay plus the supplements and other things are extra. I just cannot afford it. She thought she had MS, too, but it turned out to be Lyme.
Please continue to tell us about your experience with this lady. I hope it works for you. :) |
This sounds like Quantum Biofeedback or Neurofeedback. Both forms of electromagnetic therapy consist of a computer data base which is integrated with a device that holds, can transmit and record the electromagnetic frequency pattern of over 10,000 known items. Theses items include but are not limited to diseases, drugs, toxins, injuries, genetics, vitamins, acupuncture points, and a whole host of remedies. The computer data base is used to analyze which items are in acute to chronic states as well as to help retrain how an individual deals with stresses.
The premise of this type of therapy is that most disease states are caused by stress and stress in this case is defined as a biological system being out of optimum balance and/or having a less than optimum method of dealing with stress loads. Once again it is important to remember that stresses can be defined as short or long term, biological, emotional, environmental, intentional (exercise) or a whole host of others. I have practiced this form of therapy since 2006, and yes it does provide some benefit like many other therapies do; but I must also caution those who choose to try it that the results are often temporary and the recommendations for supplementation can become an on going thing (depending on the practitioner and their vested interest in the sale of such items). Personally I choose to not sell products for that very reason. If they are strongly indicative of being needed, then the suggestion is made that they be purchased elsewhere. In addition to the potential for supplementation, this type of therapy for chronic health challenges like MS generally involves a course of ongoing and repeated biofeedback therapy. From a personal point of view, I do use the system on myself and I would have to say that it has helped to keep my body and mind more functional than it would otherwise have been,. But having said that, here I am with that $30K system, and even though I have put it to use as often as once/week, I am still dealing with the effects of a relatively acute and continuous decline of demyelination and dysfunction over the last 18 months. I have also had the therapy performed by another biofeedback practitioner to see if we came up with similar data (we did). I don't want to be negative or discourage anyone from trying this form of therapy, but it seemed that it might be beneficial to share a bit of professional insight and provide a heads up. Best wishes for sweet relief of symptoms and a healthier life to Dejibo and everyone. With love, Erika |
Erika is correct on what this system is.
The practitioner expects that for 90 days you take HER suppliments because she measures them biochemcially and electrically on her machine against your body waves output. After 90 days you can buy from whom you like. Cost. Fasten your seatbelt. it was $175 to sit for a half hour and have her tell me what she does. It was $300 for the visit ($100 per hour) and the suppliments cost me about $700 So, I walked out the door about $1,100 lighter. its incredibly expensive, and my hopes are that if this is a bona fide treatment that actually does some good that perhaps with education and information we can make it accessible to those that need it, not just those that can afford it. When my friend first told me that my first visit would run between 800 and 1000 dollars I almost choked! So, beware this is not by any means cheap. I am going back in 30 days and will incure more charges, more suppliments and then in 60 days. After that I can get my suppliments from where I want. By then she swears I will feel dramatically better. She is a registered nurse. She has a very high degree of training and skill and experience as well as her staff. She is not an MD or an ND. She doesnt operate under her nursing license, she is using the title of medical analysis. so...what that means is beyond me. I guess it protects her from all sorts of law suits. BE SMART! if you think you are being sold BS in a can, DONT buy it! I too hold a high level degree and am quite experienced with my field. I was quickly able to keep up to what she had to say, why she was saying it, and where it was leading. Had I been a laymen I am not sure I would have been able to keep up. So, lets give it the first 30 days and see how she goes. |
Is this the same as "bioelectrification" developed and done by Bob Beck?
http://educate-yourself.org/be/ Here is a strange video about garlic being a poison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=14aZbjs0mIY So much for Bob Beck. |
I dont know anything about Bob Beck. I have not seen his work.
The machine I am talking about is http://www.myspace.com/video/3183619...video/31313387 |
Hi Dejibo
I wouldn't discount what this new person says either. I would give it a try. I have a new pain specialist who is a physiosist. She put me on suppliments also. This is the first time in my life I have taken them. I have multipal things wrong involving my immune system. I am with you, for trying out something a bit different. I hope it works for you and me both. Glad to hear Jack the cat, is up and about enjoying life. I wish you all the best. ginnie

I think it is similar. I think the Biocom uses the same principles.
I'd like to know what supplements and doses. 20 bottles is quite a lot. Some things are just not safe for all people. Most are not given properly in response to food etc. Even the RX Metanx does not have accurate food directions, for example. Your money outlay is not that high.... could be worse. For example one visit to a specialty vet for ultrasound and biopsy cost us $980 for Oreo last year. However, continued visits will add up significantly. But I don't see how anyone can tell you had Copaxone from the electrical data. YouTube has many screen shots of this type of treatment. So the curious here can look there. |
Biofeedback systems vary but the application of electromagnetics to assess and optimize health is considered to be state of the art technology. Using electromagnetics integrated with a computer data base to do that is not all that new. It is very similar to what goes on with MRIs. For instance, in the case of MRIs, a particular computerized data base interprets electromagnetic resonance with respect to densities and produces an image that can be seen with the human eye according to the data received.
With respect to identifying Copaxone, it like everything else listed in the data base of the system has first been assessed using an electromagnetic oscillator. It is through that process that the electromagnetic frequency, cadence and band width of each data item is determined. That value of the item is then imparted onto a neutral carbon granule which is in turn placed into a vial along with hundreds of others that are similar to it. A small wire is then attached to the vial which ultimately leads to the computerized data base. The data base in the computer is loaded with written descriptions of each item. The one for Copaxone might say something like: "Copaxone; pharmaceutical used in the treatment of MS". That is how a biofeedback practitioner would know that someone had taken Copaxone and that they had MS. It is also likely that the data item "MS" probably also showed up in the matrix (the complete listing of all data items); as that too has a known frequency and is in the data base. Biofeedback practitioners use their own knowledge base to interpret and utilize the data and the biofeedback system. That knowledge base is variable and can be next to nothing all the way up to someone who specializes in a particular field of medicine such as the internist in the video or a veterinarian. For instance, my own knowledge base and board registrations are in physical therapy and nutrition, so those are primarily what make up my scope of practice. The law says that I must remain within that scope, so while I might provide information or suggestions to patients with respect to other things that show up in the database, these would only be suggestions and not a formal recommendation. I suspect that it is so with the practitioner that has been mentioned. The supplements, therapy program etc are probably only suggestions, especially given the description of the practitioner's signage and these stated limitations are likely also found within the practitioner's 'Informed consent form" which is probably signed by all patients. This is where things get a little sticky with respect to everything from required qualifications, training, licenses, and liability insurance. Biofeedback is a loosely self-regulated field and these things are in place to prevent someone from practicing in a regulated medical field without the board registration to do so. The AMA, CMA, FDA and Health Canada have all weighed in on biofeedback and unfortunately, none officially endorse it; and in some cases have caused its use to be outlawed all together. I think that is due to the objections coming from AMA and CMA members who feel threatened by it and most natural therapies. What a shame. With love, Erika |

she IS board certified. She does hold a license (valid and current) from the state. She is well known and well loved. I have had many folks singing her praises about what a horrible state of health they were in before seeing her, and how fantastic they feel now. There is a swimmer in the para lympics from NH, her name is Victoria. She was having seizure after seizure all day every day before she worked with her.
Are there quacks out there? YES! I have met several. Do I feel she is a quack. NO! She was spot on with her answers. She was willing to not just accept the answer but go further. She IS working hand in hand WITH my MD. They are keeping contact with each other, and as she has agreed to do XYZ for him, he has agreed to do blood work, check ups and keep an eye on what she is doing. I really trust my MD and he said she has a really good rep, and he wont allow anything that is going to be more harmful than helpful. All she has suggested so far is helping bring me around the corner so I am strong enough to tolerate her treatment. I am NOT saying run right out and see a woman like her. I am not saying dont go. I promised to share my experience with you, and that is all I am doing. I am going to give her the first 30 days as promised. lets see if her promises hold true. Tomorrow I get baseline blood work, and then start eating pills for breakfast. |
What is the license in? Certainly she can be licensed as a nurse or whatever else, but as far as I can learn so far there is no license for use of this machine. The new version, BTW is called the Indigo.
Good luck. |
Many thanks for posting that MrsD.
The first link provides some of the information that I've been trying to figure out how to get across. Apparently biofeedback has not cured my cog-fog; although it does seem to help somewhat. Prof. Nelson is indeed quite a controversial character in the world of biofeedback but we must also remember that it is often found that we tend to assign the activities of an individual to a whole group. We only need to look to the example where some perceive all Catholic priests as being potential sexual abusers, or where all Islamists are perceived as terrorists. In truth the majorities do not support or participate in the abhorrent activities of the few. I feel that is the case in the instance of Prof. Nelson, his claims, as well as his eccentricities. He impressed me as being a very intelligent individual when I met him at a conference a few years ago, but oddities with respect to his behaviour, demeanor and opinions did not go unnoticed. One of the things that hasn't been mentioned with respect to biofeedback is that during the testing process in these devices, ALL of the items contained within the system are tested for patient resonance; and all of them come up in the matrix display within separate categories that are listed according to acute (strongly positive resonance) all the way to chronic very weak resonance). Thus it is entirely possible for a male patient who has a temporarily high estrogen level, which may have been due to ingestion of it in foods, might show an acute or high resonance to a typically female hormone condition such as pregnancy. Taking that sort of data at face value can obviously lead to misinterpretation, or in the case of the article in the link, dismissal of the whole system as hokum. The more serious implications of a practitioner not interpreting the data base arrangement of matrix items correctly or in context is that a potentially serious condition might be overlooked or dismissed as not important because it appears in the chronic or weak resonance category. This can often be the case, as occurs in instances when people have adapted to conditions like diabetes, MS or even cancer. At the time of testing, these sorts of things might just not be in a highly reactive state. The potential for an opposite misinterpretation is also possible, when for example an individual's data base matrix might temporarily test highly resonant. For example, diabetes might show up as highly reactive because the individual being tested consumed a food high in sugar just before testing (happens a lot). Given these points, it is prudent for practitioners to look for repeating patterns of data within the different analytical programs of the data base and preferably to do so over more than one test if it is suspected that a data item or health condition is worth further investigation or focus. This is where integration with other medical professionals is essential; for such suspected conditions need to be investigated and treated through more reliable means; even if the patient chooses to continue with biofeedback therapy. Oh sure, there are a lot of measures taken by biofeedback practitioners to avoid responsibility with respect to missed or incorrect assessments as well as liability issues that may arise through the use of this type of therapy, but my concern has always been that patients themselves understand that it is their responsibility to remain in the care of their PCP and other health care practitioners; as well as to inform them of any health concerns whether those come from interpretation of biofeedback data or otherwise. In summary I do believe that the use of electromagnetic biofeedback is a viable form of assessment and therapy when used intelligently as a part of overall health enhancement techniques. Like many other health care tools and therapies, it is but one in a whole host of potentially beneficial ones, and by no means should it be relied upon as the be-all or end-all. With love, Erika |
I think it is really difficult to trust or respect some "Professor, or PhD doctor" whose credentials are bogus.
While the systems look promising, the underlying research is not strong, and there is no proof whatsoever, over the past 20+ yrs or so that it is valuable or that it works. (This system has several name incarnations too) In that time "something" would have been noticed and catapulted this system into popularity, rather than the reverse of circumventing authorities. At our PN forum, we have our own, electrical "system" that we discuss often, called the Rebuilder. (which has spotty effectiveness if any at all). We are all entitled to our own opinions, however, and this thread certainly has been educational for me! |
I feel like I am having to defend my choice to do this experiment.
She holds a license from the state health department to use this biocom machine. She is a licensed "medical analysist" She is registered and licensed thru the state board of health. The surgeon general of our state had one of his cousins treated in her clinic. the governor of our state had his wife in the clinic and she is an MD. After that visit the governor gave her a plaque or recognition of service. (not sure that means squat) Many heard about what my kitty went thru and we were all amazed that jack the cat went from deaths door to rolling and playing in the sun. I made it MY personal mission to find a practioner that uses this style of medicine on human beings. I KNOW that it could be complete BS and I know that it could be amazing. to me, its worth the gamble. I got my MD on board and we have filled him in on it, and he is working hand in hand with her, so there IS a checker in place that what she is giving me isn't going to harm me. I am not gullible. I am not easily taken for a ride and if I do go for a ride I know ahead of time that this may turn out to be nothing more than a ride. I am not easily hypnotized and had a long term friend who did "pyschic" hot line work and told me all about cold calling and how to easily get folks to think you know much more about them than you do. I wore prostetic breasts, and yet without touching or seeing me, she knew I had breast cancer in my 28th year of life. she knew which chemo drugs I had taken in my 30th year of life. She knew that my thyroid has nodules (has been confirmed by earlier tests) she was also able to tell me I have some lesions in my brain and couldnt ID what was on the right side, but didn't want to call it a "tumor" I have spoken here about my glioma and how it doesn't grow. She spoke that she thinks its a piece of scar tissue from an old bleeding injury. She did many things that impressed me, and I am not easily impressed. Please know that I am NOT selling this kind of medicine. I did not show up here with a bucket of Acai berry juice saying OMG you gotta try this! I thought since this is so expensive and so many have wondered about seeing one of these guys, that I would allow MY experience to be advertised here and share with you what is happening. I am NOT selling or bashing this product or service. I am simply reporting what is happening TO ME. PLEASE see YOUR MD if you wish to undergo treatments anywhere. NEVER EVER use MY recommendation of what works for me as something that would work for you. I admit that there are a blue ton of crack pots out there just ready to sting you with bees, fill you with purple juice, put powders and potions in your oatmeal or have you lay down in traffic and let the increase in adrenalin cure you. I am happy to continue to share my experience if you wish, but if you feel that I am here pushing/selling, or advertising for any one product or service I will be happy to keep it to myself. I know several are skeptical as am i. Im simply willing to give her 90 days of my miserable pain ridden life and see if she can shift the tides. |
Dejibo,
I am so sorry if anything in my posts have upset you or anyone else; as that certainly was not my intention. Please do not feel that you or your choice is under attack; they aren't. I think that because biofeedback is relatively unknown it has attracted a fair amount of commentary; and some of it is controversial. I had hoped to smooth that out rather than to encourage it. Personally I support your choice as well as the use of the biofeedback system as a supportive form of therapy to enhance health. I just felt that it may have been helpful to provide some information on the subject for those who may want it. I'm signing off on the topic from here on out but I very much look forward to hearing your observations and experiences. I wish you the very best in all things and specifically an excellent experience with this form of therapy as well as with the practitioner. With love, Erika |
Oh, I don't get any impression that you are advertising anything.
But I do tend to want to reinforce safety issues. We've had years of Rebuilder discussions on PN. I mean YEARS! I would be the last person to squelch a discussion here. I am only pointing out things I think are possibly harmful or untrue. |
I dont want anyone to leave the thread. I want to be able to have a conversation about what I have chosen to do with MY personal treatment plan for the next 90 days. As I have said this will either work, or it wont.
I hope that sharing MY experience will help others to see/hear/experience what is going on without having to shell out thousands of dollars of their own. As I said in the first post, let me be your guinea pig. I expect one of three things will happen. 1. I will feel tons better and be happy. 2. I will feel worse and feel ripped off. 3. I will feel no change and be no worse off than I am now. Since my MD is watching over this whole thing I am not expecting to feel worse with the exception of some detox from the chemo drugs that I took back in the day. This woman tells me some folks can feel punky during that, but for the most part, you feel crappy for a few days and then start to feel better and better. BS in a can or not, im marching forward. I hope to be able to share my story. Thank you for letting me tell you about it. I do welcome questions, comments, concerns and encouragements. I would love your input. I am just hoping you will remember i too dont feel good, and while I am trying to find my place in this world I am hoping you will cheer me on as I try. just like some folks love Copaxone, some hate it. Many studies show no one knows how or why it works or IF it works at all. Some folks wont go near LDN because its "quackery" but this quackery works so well for so many...makes ya wonder. Betaseron does amazing things for some folks and rips up the livers of others. Makes some so depressed they cant continue. no one can fully explain how/why it works, and yet in some folks it does. in other folks it does nothing to stop the progression of this disease. I am willing to give this a try. I saw it work a miracle on my cat (who isnt prone to the suggestive phrase or cold readings) he simply knew he could pee again, and he felt better so he stopped hiding in my armoire. He went from being on narcotics 3x a day to being on nothing. He pees everyday now. You can pet his tummy without him howling in pain. He wants to be with me, love me, be brushed, and watch his birds in the yard. If this woman can do half for me what his vet did for him, I will consider it a win. Its only day Zero. I start my suppliments tomorrow after a baseline blood test. Lets just see how it goes. |
Hi dejibo
No dear woman, you don't have to defend trying this. I think all of us just want you to be careful on the suppliments. I am taking them too like I said. but I am going with a board certified physiasist. She specialized in nutrition at a cellular level, and that is probably what this practioner you have met is trying to do. I sure do know how MS can be, as my cousin has it. We all have to try in our own ways to go forward with some hope. Sometimes, another person who takes us seriously and tries to help, can provide mental peace to where the body can heal, and or stabilize. It may not be main stream medicine, but hope is a gift in itself when we feel miserable. I wish you all the best dejibo, I care about you, and want you to be as happy and healthy as you can. None of us are having a good time with these medical conditions, thats for sure. Lets just hang out her on NT, and keep talking bringing us closer together as humans. We all need each other. ginnie

As a LDN user for 10 yrs now, and still have MS, I'm not going to scoff at anyones attempt at "feeling better". And that's what MS does for me...I feel better, healthier and feel as though the LDN is slowing down the speed of MS progression.
LDN is cheap. I don't know what I'd do though, if it cost $1000.00 per month instead of ldn's $15.00?? That's the thing that bothers me about the DMDs or any other expensive *iffy* therapy. Just know when to "fold em" Dej..;) |

I am headed off for my baseline blood test. Then I will start taking my suppliments. Wish me luck. |
Got my blood tested this morning (wont know the results for a few days) and then off to breakfast. I took my fist full of pills with me, and by the time I was done I almost wasnt hungry anymore. lol. Thats a lot to eat at one sitting. Most of my stuff is taken in the AM. 3 of this one, 2 of that one, 1 of this one, 3 drops of this 10 drops of that.
Then the most expensive bottle by far I use 10 drops and then I went to sit it down, and a complete MS moment I missed the edge of the table and over it went! i lost about 1/4 of it before I could right it. I got a bit of a tummy ache but I ate badly all day. its my birthday after all! I do notice that today I only had 3 visual migraines. I normally have 5 to 10 per day. Was it the over cast day? was it the meds? I dunno. Lets see what tomorrow brings. |
Hi Dejibo,
I only check in every now and then but I really look forward to following your experience. I wish you the best! :) I think you are going into this with the perfect mindset. Many years ago, long before my MS diagnosis, I developed "allergies" to almost everything in my environment. I think then they called it Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. It was awful. I could barely leave my house and even the stuff in my apt. brought on terrible symptoms. I tried every holistic health treatment known to mankind I saw many doctors. Anyhow, one day I was reading my roommates' natural health magazine and discovered something called NAET. It's too long to explain but involves acupuncture needles, kinesiology (muscle testing), and later on some kind of biofeedback machine. It wound up costing me hundreds of dollars but it was a literal miracle and blew my mind away. It changed my life!! It got rid of the worst of the problem (every once in awhile it flares up just a tad) and I felt a million dollars better. I had an amazing practitioner who gave me my life back. Even now I still can't believe it--but it wasn't a quick fix. Anyhow, at the time I didn't care if it was the placebo effect, or if it really worked, or who knows what. Some things just can't be explained. Everyone's body is so unique. What works for some doesn't necessarily work for others. Good luck on your journey and I hope you find what you are looking for! |
I'd be concerned about how well you will digest and metabolize all of those supplements. Years ago, I had "alternate doctors" or ND's give me whole boxes of supplements, but in every case I could not digest them well. I have since then found supplements I can digest and metabolize, by trial and error in some cases. And I believe these supplements are very important to me. But indeed I have to take them in the right order, things like magnesium at meals, calcium between meals, and so forth.
I know you are gastronimcally sensitisve as I am, Dejibo, so I expect trying all 20 at once time ( that is, in the same day) may not work well. But since I don't know what you have in that group, I wouldn't know what to suggest you start with from among them. I too will be interested to hear more. And may it work for you! |
I had already thought of that Mariel. Most of my stuff is liquid that gets dropped under my tongue, or rubbed on my skin. Then there are the capsules that open and the powder gets dropped into my food. there are only 4 things that are actual tablets. I was pleased as I cant hold a lot of food in my tummy and when I do it mis behaves. I start the whole thing with enzymes which help move things along, and pro biotics so I am flooding the place with good bacteria.
I was really upset to think I was going to have to swallow all those pills, and thrilled when I saw she turned them into drops. im on day two. Have my oat meal in front of me, and I already took my enzymes and probiotics. now to dose my oatmeal and get ready for this day. one of my good friends is taking me to lunch! wahoo! oh, yes, what happened last night. I normally dont sweat at all during the day, even if I am hot, I just turn red. I can get very hot at night and then sweat a bit. I woke several times last night pouring sweat! I was drenched, and not just my chest, it was my whole body! I turned on the AC and made the room frozen. Went back to sleep. Woke several times just drenched! I got up and laid a fluffy towel under me. I got up and showered up this morning and will have DH change the sheets and mattress pad. She warned me that may happen as I detox. I was easily able to fall back to sleep. |
Took my capsules, broke them open and filled my oatmeal bowl. UGH! it was GREEN! Dark green! oh no, im not eating that! I did taste it, and it was funky! I gagged on it. I threw out the bowl and started over. I swallowed all the green ones, and broke open the white/tan ones into my bowl. I added the liquid stuff, and while the little kid in me could taste that adult in me said no way, there is no flavor change, just swallow!
Next time I will know, swallow the green ones! they really have no taste, but dang that was ugly! |
only 3 visual migraines yesterday and I was able to watch a movie all the way thru without having to shut it off to wait for a migraine to pass.
I sweated some last night, but nothing like the night before. it was a naturally cooler night in the house. Im on day three and my tummy is full of oatmeal and suppliments. 98% of them are morning pills and stuff, so once im done in the morning, im mostly done all day. Cross your fingers for a better visual day. |
when I first started this, the woman told me I have a thyroid issue, but they wont find it on TSH, it would be either the Free T3 or the Free T4. I had bloods pulled before I started suppliments. I got a call today that my Free T 4 is off. They wanted me to come back in and have it redrawn. So, a poking we went. Im such a tough stick and its horrible to be poked over and over. The bloods are off to the lab, and I warned them im on suppliments.

woke feeling like I am in detox. im achy, im sluggish, im sore and im dragging. I am not awake yet. Will happily take my pills and start my day. of course I have days like this pills or no pills so I dont know if its her pills or my disease.
only had 2 visual migraines yesterday. that is a miracle. had to take something over the counter to make my bowels move, so I still have tummy work to do. |
I use rubbing into my skin, too. Specifically for aspirin, which I take to thin blood. I can't put it in my stomach without severe pain (even in small doses). I powder it and put it in heavy cream and rub it into any part of my body. One full size uncoated pill lasts 4 days.
I also use ginger tea and Vitamin E to thin blood. That's not for MS but it might help it if Swank was right that MS blood tends to "slow down" and stick together. Every disease I have has this need, so aspirin it is, even if I rub into skin. |
Day 5 of 90.
I had only ONE visual migraine yesterday. I did feel awful most of the day and was achy, sweaty and tummy upset. Today after laying down all day yesterday I feel some better. The heat that is coming wont help tho. Have to go grocery shopping for some better food. I allowed DH to step in and be helpful while I have been down, and little by little the house is filing with stuff and things we dont need to have here. Time for some veggies, fruit, and stuff like that. I love that man, but fish sticks is not nutrition. I have pooped normally for 2 days in a row now. (that hasnt happened in years) and while I have not lost an ounce, my appetite is changing. I am not craving carbs, or even diary as much for that matter. Havent been able to walk due to the weather or just feeling bad. I need to get back out there. Stopped taking one of the suppliments cause every time I did it really upset my stomach. I knew which one it was cause i kept burping the taste of what it smells like. it really made my tummy unhappy. Since I stopped it helped greatly. I was told it was a "detox helper" and was meant to help escort the bad guys out the door instead of allowing them freedom while they flushed. We came to the agreement that it was ok to just stop that one. She said my detox would be sweatier and so forth, but I was tough and could take it. |
Dejibo, this all sounds really positive. So glad that your headaches are decreasing. What a relief that must be.
May everything continue to improve! With love, Erika |
Day 6 of 90.
I feel hung over this morning. I am peeing like a race horse as this stuff detoxes. I am logy and tired. I feel like I ran a marathon and yet didnt leave the couch. Spoke to her on the phone yesterday as a check up and she said its perfectly normal, esp since I dont want to take the stuff that helps the detox. She reminded me that this is temporary and will pass. After that we hope that my own system will stand up and start acting properly. For now im so toxic that I have crippled my lymph and adrenals from being able to do their job. Once the old chemo, copaxone, and other such stuff is gone I WILL feel better. as a new push I started juicing two of my meals a day. I always feel better when I do that and it will drown my system in micro nutrients. Its hot, and I dont do hot well, so between the heat and the meds im spent. im going to watch movies and laze about today. |
Got to sleep in today. husband is away fishing. Day 6 of 90 is off to a hot start.
One of my suppliments a liquid (pregnenolone) has clumped up, and turned gooey. was I supposed to refrig it? the instructions didnt say so. I didnt use that one today. Will call tomorrow and find out. bottle says store in a cool dry place. I am using the potty (number 2) like a normal girl these last 3 or 4 days. AMAZING! I almost forgot what that felt like to sit and just go. I normally have to sit and struggle or pardon me for being gross but dig out what wont move. I had rolling visual migraines yesterday and have had 3 before noon today. I have been pushing myself to do more visually as I always do when a visual window opens. I think I need to be more kind about resting my eyes. Pushing the optic nerve isnt going to help me. night sweats are half of what they were, and I noticed that I am peeing a lot! not dribbles or a little bit as was my custom, I mean a full bladder. So, either my kidneys are really flushing stuff out or the signal that triggered my trigger happy bladder is calming and allowing it to fill before freaking out. The bladder spasms are really much calmer than they were. off we go for another day. *edit* called the practitioner and she said that drug IS a gooey drug. I must not have shaken it well enough. it doesnt need to be refrigerated, but kept cool. Shake HARD squeeze what is in dropper back into bottle and shake again. HARD. so...that answers that. |
Hello Dejibo,
Thanks for the update. Things do sound like they are coming around for you. How wonderful! With thick or semi-liquid medications, it sometimes helps to wash/strilize a small stone or marble and then put that in the bottle. Then when you shake the stuff up, the added object helps to get the precipitate of the bottom and sides; then it helps to mix them into the liquid. Exactly why they put a metal ball into spray paint. With love, Erika |
Week one gone! 11 to go!
Day one Week two. I slept more deeply the last two nights than I have slept in years and all without my normal amount of meds. normally I need to throw a 2nd ativan at it or a baclofen. I have noticed that when I lay down the hug isnt as severe. it used to really crush on me when I would lay flat. Spoke to two more folks who use this woman as their first line of defense. They too paid $800 each when they first started going, but now they see her once every six months for a quick check up. He is on only 3 pills a day. Vitamin, and D3 and thyroid support. She only takes the multivit. She spent $740 when she started going. She has a stable life now where as she had fibromyalgia before hand. She said she has tons more energy now and feels like she is 20. she just turned 50 too. im quite tired today, but I hope that changes as I wake more. I slept really deeply. I love those nights. |
I really hope this works for you, Dej, as I know you've struggled for a long time.
I wish the cost wasn't so prohibitive to so many of us. It's interesting that one person is only on 3 supplements/medications now (D3, multi-vitamin, and thyroid pill). That is pretty much what I take with the exception I do take a HBP pill, too. Keep on keepin' on and keep us up to date! :) |
