Hubby just got a call his mom is in the er. we don't know much yet. they are running test on her heart.

:( no news yet. they were still running tests. i will let y'all know as soon as i hear anything. my bil can't have his cell phone on because of all the machines. we are hoping he calls soon.

my mil isn't in the best of health. but i am so thankful that she called the ambulance asap.

:o i know chemar..just more stress.

ty bmw. :hug: grandmonkey and i had nice toasty ones today. i sure love having an indoor grill. burntmarshmallows anytime. :)

we just got word that they called in a cardiologist. she has real high cholesterol. she does takes meds for that, but doesn't watch what she eats. :( her bp was "ok".

she was still in a room in the er. we thought they had asigned a regular room for her, but not yet.

Is she nearby or far from your family?
I hope all is OK and you hear news soon.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your MIL Curious. I'm so glad she got help and is in the hospital where she can be watched over until they find out what's going on.

she is only about 20 minutes away jo. hubby wants to find out some answers, so that him going to the hospital doesn't cause her more worry. she tends to think dr's aren't telling her everything and if he shows up...then it HAS to be bad news.

I'm glad she took action and they took her seriously enough to warrant further observation and testing. Maybe your husband can reassure her by saying he's just checking to make sure her accommodations are to her liking. Hopefully, this is just a scare to remind her to take care of herself and eat properly.

I'll keep you both in my prayers.

hi all. her tests came back "inconclusive". no evidence of a heart attack. she is staying in the hospital over night for observation.

big time dietary changes.

thank you all for your support and prayers. this threw us for a loop today.

I'm sorry not to have seen this before. Not been able to be around much lately. I'm glad to read things have turned out fairly well by the end of the day. It's good she's staying in for the overnight observation though, just to be sure.
