A simple question

What season/month were you born? Please include both since some of us are north of equater and others south. For myself-

Summer/July

PS- I know "equator" is mis-spelled but it made such a cute word I decided to keep it. :)

Lovely new word

I was born in Denmark, in February, when the days grow longer and the frost grows stronger.
I can add that I was born at home, with doctor and midwife present, at three o'clock in the afternoon, and that I cried so loudly that my Grandmother said to my Father, "Hear that? I told you it was twins."
And I weighed almost 5 kg.

I can't resist:

The Great Equater.

The decider once promised to be the equater who would bring us all together.

The explosion left a huge equater.

Help me get these blasted equaters off.

The horse show attracted numerous famous equaters from around the world.

What a lovely new word, everett..

The season?
Well depends (thanks to global warming):

Winter - when I was born.
Spring - for the last 2 years.
Summer - this year.

Lets call it the Kyoto effect!

Astrology and Parkinson's Disease

I don't know why, but a lot of the famous people with Parkinson's Disease were born at the same time of the year.

Rather oddly, it coincides with the astrological divisions of the year, with the greatest proneness being : Earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) followed by Water signs (Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio).

This would mean that people's likelihood of getting Parkinson's Disease increases in alternate signs (or months). Why, I don't know.

It's difficult to know if it coincides with the people here because most people have given only the month rather than the date of their birth.

Does anyone see a pattern?

Not necessarily of birth but rather of conception? I was hoping to see a pattern of being in utero during the heat of summer and fall but we seem to be all over the map.

Curious 04-25-2007 06:23 PM

i might be totally off base here...but wouldn't it make a difference what year too? the weather could have been wonky. we have had HOT weather in Feb and snow in April here in Texas.

 am i making this difficult for you reverette? :o or what if the person wasn't carried to term? gotta watch when you get me curious. my noodle works overtime.

i'll add my dad...
