Thank you...just got back into town a few hours ago. very windy and chilly here, can't believe I was just in mexico saturday and it was warm and sunny.
Had a wonderful time. Had so much fun!!!!
good food great music piano bar sing alongs. michael jackson...disco music kareoke, wonderful meals and company. I am so tired.
Hubby sent me beautiful flowers and fancy chocolates for the boat...and my sister sent us a cabin happy birthday decoration for the room. love it!

Edited to add: we pay our taxes in a timely fashion, I just cannot stand having to make copies of stuff, add up receipts, etc. Yuck. We are lucky though. My husband is trading a brake job on a CPA's car who will do our taxes.

Hubbie stinks at taxes almost as much as I do. And I have too much anxiety about nearly everything. I certainly do not like getting letters from the IRS about a mistake we made and that will cost us to fix.

I make Hubbie put everything in a pile and take it to the accountant. The office calls us to sign when it is ready.
It costs us little because our forms are simple but I love being anxiety free about SOMETHING.
So I can say I love tax season. It runs smoothly for me because a professional takes care of it AND Hubbie and I do not have to have "discussions" about the paperwork.

Yes Mari! When the guy says "sign here & here" and that's it. It's like magic!!! I used to do our taxes but can't handle it anymore. It was long form and complicated - to me at least. I agree in letting the professionals handle it if we can. :Heart:

Don't even want to discuss taxes. Will celbrate with everyone when
my husband finishes ours. And explain why.

Its a mess, because he has to many pots in the mix. I couldn't start to
help anymore.

One of the dil's does the putting the receipts in place now. I have to much
problem in the memory and stuff like that area. A few years ago. I had
them all mixed up. And it made it worse.

So she fixed them, and took over. No shame in admitting.

I'm glad your DIL can help you Donna. You're right - it's best we admit when something isn't our strong suit. We're doing the smart thing. :Heart:

I use tax act on line...pretty simple really just answer questions and it files them electronically both fed and state for about $25. I just need to get all of my business receipts totaled. and of course answer all of those questions.!!!!!!!
