A long time friend in EFA (Epilepsy)
 

One of my long time friends in the EFA son died this morning.
I am heartbroken, and just having a hard time with it.

I think I'm going to think about a road trip to Chicago.
We always worry about our kids with epilepsy.

And this is not her child with a severe medical condition.
That is very life threatening, many days.

So I know how hard this is for her.

Thanks everyone

I've been off helping a parent in Kokomo and spent the night
with my mom.

There is drama going on over there with my sister and her foster
child. So she is moving now. Its really a mess.
I feel so bad for her. She wants to adopt so bad. But this one is
just not the right one.

She has another of her older fosters living with her. Its I believe
the first one she had. They are talking I believe even as she is
a adult of adopting her now.

So its going to still be a kid in the house.

That is beautiful -- that your sister is adopting her adult foster child.

I learned just today that 3 children have died this week from
SUDEP.

Ugh, it was the same day as my friends son.

Wow, Those that don't know SUDEP is Sudden unexplained Death of
Epilepsy.

Hi everyone.

My friends son's showing is today. I have debated and debated.
Taking the 2 1/2 hours drive to go. But my shoulder would just
kill me even more.

So I'm staying home. If I didn't have a mammogram apt tomorrow
I'd go and get a hotel room and drive back tomorrow.

Alas, I am working on how to do something else.
