Well.....It isnt about RSD, but hopefully it leads to where I can share RSD with the masses!!

A couple of weeks ago the Destination America channel came out with its Monsters and Mysteries in America film crew and we shot an episode on Bigfoot!!

It will be a great episode that they say should air sometime around December!! I dont know what the episode name is yet, but will update everyone as soon as I find out.

I was interviewed at great length along with a couple of my fellow researchers. We are stoked! Plus!!!

We went out on our own and created a pilot talk show that we call "Paranormal Central". We pitched it to our local Fox station, and they snatched it up!! It will air here in California's Central valley on Oct 6 at midnight, and then again on CW on the 13th at 11:30 pm!!

What is soooo cool about this one is they also are going to upload it to the national availability database!!! So anyone that wants to see it that doesnt live in the central valley can contact their local FOX or CW channel in a couple of weeks and ask them to air it in their area, and that means you can see it no matter where in the USA you live!!!

We did the show format just like the other talk shows, and even have our own house band. We are soooo hoping to get picked up by a network, and be able to do this all the time!!! You know if it does get picked up....I will not be silent about RSD :winky:

One thing that really concerns me......I cannot work, and this has been kind of a hobby/fun thing to occupy myself with. Sometimes I cant hardly get out of bed, but manage to at least do this a couple of hours a week.

I m really worried that if we get syndicated......it might get to be tooo much for me, and I would have to let everyone down. Sad thing about RSD is that it makes even the simplest things very very hard. So pray for me that this wont be so taxing on me that I would have to stop.....

If you are on any type of disability I would be concerned about how this may be perceived by someone who doesn't understand that, just because you can do something once in a while for a short time, that this isn't how you function daily.

In the event none of this matters and you go forward with this - I do hope you are physically able to enjoy every second of pleasure you get from it.

I am on SSDI, and in the last couple of years worked for Animal Planet, and the National Geographic channel as a producers asst. I reported the hours and amount earned to the Social Security.

It was only while they were in town, and all I did was help to secure the permits and shoot locations. But it was very fun LOL!!

Luckily everyone that does this with me are witness to the fact that im totally limited, and sometimes confined to the bed. So I would have a line of people vouching for me.

That said, if we are picked up by a network. I will try my best to be off disability ;)

This place is the best!!! You know if it wasnt for the people in this forum I would probably still be sitting in a dark corner of my room staring at a computer monitor. The people here gave me hope that I could focus on what I could do, instead of focusing on what I cant do.

Sure Im a long ways from doing anything like I did before RSD, but if it wasnt for RSD, and everyone here.........I wouldnt be doing this thats fer sure! I am also very lucky that the team of people that have the same passion as I do have been so understanding of my limitations. I guess at first they thought I was faking, but after watching me struggle now for a few years, they are so supportive, and try not to have me take on more then I can handle.

Once I started finding my limits....which are sadly not far from my starting place, I got so caught up in life I kept forgetting to come back here. I wont forget, and also am forever grateful for this forum.

You can do this. It's a dream, and when they come along and actually hold out their hand to you, you just have to take it and fly. As far and as high as you can.

I think its awesome your going to be able to do something you love even if its only "part time" lol. Keep doing what you can. Don't push yourself to act like your whole like the other guys doing this. We may appear whole but we got issues lol.

It could be? They said they were going to upload it to an availability server that any network in the nation could potentially air it from.

You also might see some promos with me in them on Finding Bigfoot. It aired last year.

Hey Allen,
It's nice hearing from you. I'm doing well, lots of reasons to be happy. I have a Grand Daughter now and she can make me smile when I have no smile to give. She really is a Godsend to me. We have been married 40 years and only have the one. At 4 years old she can see life in a way I forgot about years ago. The TOS/RSD is getting harder to live with, I just keep getting up every day and try to stay busy. We walk as much as possible and try to help the kids. Enough about me, how are you doing? I have read this thread and you sound like you are staying busy. I hope your health is doing better. I have the old trucker questions for you. Where ya been, where ya going, and what ya haulin? Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon.
