Jack Osbourne struggling on DWTS
 

He made it to the semi-finals, mostly by fan's votes. He's not a great dancer. Not bad, but IMHO not as deserving as having gotten this far as some that have been eliminated.

His MS is giving him problems now. Losing vision, getting pains in his arm. Vision loss was part of his diagnosis criteria.

He made it to the finals!

I love to watch him when he does the ballroom dancing. But I do wonder where he gets the energy for the practicing and the actual performance. I don't know what the guys are going to do if the one girl from Glee is the winner. I know they always hoist the winners up in the air and let them celebrate up in the arms of several of the guys. But she will be a handful

If I had known that I had MS earlier in my life I would have thought I had a very mild or even non-symptomatic version of it. Not now. These folks who get their diagnosis early in the disease progression (and make it known publicly) should realize that they can do the most good for people with MS by making it known when their symptoms worsen.

Actually, I think Derek and the wardrobe folks have helped us see Amber as more than just a full-figured actress! Every week I have been amazed at how he dances with her in such a way that her weight is not even an issue. I could be very happy to see her win. I find her inspiring.

Jack has been fun to watch because we know he is pushing himself to not become a "disabled" mentality. But we all know MS and its cousins (TM, Lupus, etc.) are different in each individual. I mean, when I heard Ann Romney used horses to rehab after her diagnosis . . . I thought to myself "I want THAT kind of MS!"

Frankly, I would be happy to learn to just walk through the dance steps to any of the common ballroom dances.

I think Jack looks wonderful out on the dance floor. I sure couldn't do what he's doing. Keep up the great work Jack! Not all MS patients are w/c bound, or depend on walkers to get around. Id give anything to be able to move around independently like him again, dance again. When he does the ballroom dancing, he moves like an angel. Love it!

Jack really did well tonight. Both he and his partner cried at the end for all he had accomplished. Derek has won so many times, it is really time for another winner.

Woo hoo for Amber and Derek! In fact, all three could have been champs this season! :yahoo:

His 3rd place finish was expected, considering he was up against two ringers. He did come a very long way during the competition, from a simple reality TV backup person to a smooth dancer. Cheryl is an excellent teacher!

I'd like to see a season in which there are no stars with previous dance experience. Heck, a few seasons ago Corbin was featured in their Macy's Stars of Dance. How the heck is that fair? :mad: And I'd like to see (now) 5-time winner Derek get partnered with someone who is NOT an obvious contender from the current entertainment industry.
