Ear pain or blurry vision?

In the acute phase of my injury, I experienced ear pain when I would ride in car that was going up an incline.

Also, in the evening my vision has gotten extremely blurry.

Anyone else experiencing these symptoms?

Nellyzen 12-08-2013 03:14 PM

I do not have any of these symptoms, but I do have some ringing in my ears sometimes.

Yeah when my TOS was at its worst, I would get ear pain and increased ringing. I still have TOS, but have improved a lot in the past couple of years. The ear pain is rare now.

Ear ringing is tricky because it can have different causes and in fact there is no reason why one couldn't experience two or more causes at once.

Yes, to blurry vision, but not ear pain.
I did have very annoying bruit/pulse sounds.

Dr Sanders asked me about bargain, so I guess that happens.

He asked you about "bargain"?

What?

Geesh. Stupid auto correct ear pain.

chroma 12-13-2013 02:10 AM

:D

There was something about "bargain" that almost made sense to me, but I couldn't figure it out. Obviously it has many common letters with "earpain". Really, I should have guessed it.

Yes, when I was at my worst I got ear pain and blurry vision. I would also get the swooshing in the ear, which was very annoying.

radtech 12-16-2013 08:25 AM

Interesting, all of these symptoms can make a person think they are losing their mind.

The optic doc diagx it as the cranial nerve to the eye becoming affect. The more fatigued I am the worse the double or triple vision. If I can get sleep, or a nap it is manageable. I do have a prism in that glass lens on the affected eye. It is lateral layering double and triple vision, not side by side.

The blurred vision, once I turned 40 got bad fast. Especially for computer use, I need to take breaks or the neck strain flares me.

Haven't experienced either, but recently my left eye has been twitching.

I found a great chart on Pinterest that had a list of symptoms. 56.5+KB&name=Symptoms+of+Thoracic+Outlet+Syndrome& p=thoracic+outlet+syndrome&oid=434ca491afdf08791e9 42f3f130ac2aa&fr2=piv-web&fr=yfp-t-521-s&tt=Symptoms%2Bof%2BThoracic%2BOutlet%2BSyndrome& b=211&ni=192&no=212&ts=&tab=organic&sigr=11lb6q49a &sigb=13lq5tnv7&sigi=11s1n0ah7&.crumb=odZjF2NP
